I’m home from Chicago & Polish & Beauty Expo 2026! It was spectacular! Biggest highlight was sharing the experience with my dear friend & nail bestie Maggie @m4g0rtz. We packed so much shopping, fun, laughter, heart to heart chats and food into the weekend as possible! 🎠💅🏻🎠

My first selection is the VIP exclusive from the event host KBShimmer, Christy Rose called Buy Buy Buy. Any messy application flaws are my own fault due to travel fatigue ☺️ I will say, we adhered to this mantra 🤣😉😎

Christy was the consummate host. She was so warm and welcoming to everyone - calm, cool and collected with a ready smile for everyone. I’m grateful to Christy, all the makers I had the pleasure to meet or see again, and everyone who worked, volunteered and sweated the small stuff to make it a great exp from start to finish! ❤️❤️❤️

Jenny’s Inspiration for PPU April 2026 Album Covers was Sloan's Smeared album cover. The song Underwhelmed, which is what the polish was named for, came out when she was in high school and became a lifelong favorite and as a kid, she loved the style of the album art so much she recreated it in watercolor.

Today’s statement mani features a beautiful polish that was randomly added to my recent Lurid order. The moment I took it out the box I knew it was the perfect expression for today. We must work together to ensure that human rights are respected and applicable to every single American.

Lurid Lacquer Dissent is Patriotic

To my eye, this deep blue shade is enhanced with strong shimmer and holo flakes. This shade will be available as an overpour in the Lurid shop in the future.

This Doorbuster shade was labeled a solar polish, I have a very unexpected outcome. First pic was taken just after applying. Second pic is was it looked one next day - completely different look that I love so much. It was so shimmery and sparkly in the sun. Third pic was the glorious in the sunlight look that brings a huge smile to my face. I added the obligatory car pics.

I conferred with the maker, who suspects it was mislabeled during small batch production and is most likely a thermal (that no longer transitions).

Bottom line, I love the final grayish-purple tone with shimmer and sparkles. 💖💖💖
