Hey guys. So, last night I found these two tiny kittens on the front porch. We already have 7 cats and we don’t have the means to take care of them. Long terms or short term. With Halloween quickly approaching, I’m reminded that we’ve been both cursed, and blessed with horror movies. So, I’ve decided to dedicate the 30th and 31st of October to bashing and appreciating both sides of the spectrum. That said, if you’re reading this, you’re invited. Recently, my mom hurt her back while working for UPS because someone didn’t identify a package as 86 lbs, which is something they’re supposed to do (or the customer has to do). Either way, she had been being paid her insurance by Liberty Mutual or whatever it was in order to suffice for when she wasn’t able to come back into work. She of course went to physical therapy, et al. However, UPS still wanted her to come in to work, even when she was in incredible pain still, and after a few nights of phoning in her boss apparently came right to her house while I was working because he thought she was ‘goofing off’. But the fact is he drove like 30 miles all the way out here to go to someone’s personal residence like that was stepping over the line.
But it doesn’t end there. In fact, about some few odd days later the insurance company has suddenly decided it was okay to shut off their payments to her (via worker’s comp). So now we obviously have to take them to court (with a lawyer that was provided by the union, thankfully) because they’re breaking the rules. The thing is, apparently it will take about 12 weeks (i.e. around June) or so for us to get a date in court. So in the meanwhile, my mom is getting paid nothing while I’m luckily still working, but as that is it won’t be enough even if I’m working about 37 hours a week or so.
I hate asking for money, but at this point I don’t think I can handle all of the expenses myself. I live in a house with a family of four others, so I’m going to have to tentatively raise about $1, 500 or so in order to help cover the costs of rent, car insurance, food expenses, water, light/electricity, gas, internet & phone for the next two months or so.

Update after this:
I suppose now it’s turned into assistance for helping me move somewhere else, since in six months I’m not going to be able to stay at my own house as a result of my aunt auctioning it off. And of course I’ll need help saving up money looking for a place to stay. If you want something in return, I’m pretty decent at art. I have page on comissions if anyone is interested in that sort of thing.
