Your decisions in life will shape your destiny
We don’t have to live by our feelings, there is a higher level to live by: faith! Maturity is the ability to remain faithful to your commitment when the emotions have passed.
What you start in faith, don't let it end up in the soul and body level. It’s not about how I start, but how I finish!
1 Cor 7:35 "And this I say for your own profit, not that I may put a leash on you, but for what is proper, and that you may serve the Lord without distraction."
Nehemiah 6:3 So I sent messengers to them, saying, “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down. Why should the work cease while I leave it and go down to you?”
He said no to the lesser thing so that He can say yes to the GREATER thing.
It is a discipline. It takes discipline to remain fresh spiritually
Our manna must be fresh. Our spiritual bread has to be fresh. Everyday.
No substituting from the daily nourishment from His word.
Ephesians 6:6 are you still doing the will of God from your heart?
Thankful for the word. Thankful for pastors, leaders and trench buddies in this place.. :’) So moved by the testimonies today, and to see on our cross stage the vision that has come to pass; the fruit of generations sowed by the everyday decisions made in God.
So encouraged. Impacted. Thankful. Reminded all over again of why I do the things I do, what I should grow in, how I should remain faithful. It is not only for the people, but for the glory of God. So many names, so many faces in my heart..Lord You alone see and know my heart, the depths of it, the ugliness and selfishness that it can contain. Lord help me be holy, pure, and have the right heart. Not for any glory of my own, but for You alone.
Youths. for You I am committed to pray and carry this burden.
Not how I start, but how I end. Everystep of the way, Holy Spirit help me to be sensitive, and to partner with You.
