Mmm I don’t spend much time in North County, but Encinitas, Carlsbad, Del Mar are all great options! I frequent Del Mar when I can, but it’s a little out of my way. Love to you!

I went to the beach you showed me. Again. I’ve been twice since the last day I saw you. Part of me was hoping you’d be there but the other half was relieved you weren’t. I swam twice and laid out on my “Good Vibes” towel reading more of Kitchen Confidential. My service is shit down there so I listened to music sparingly. I thought of you a lot but didn’t cry. Today is the first day I haven’t cried over this. When I drove home I went by the park you took me to on Monday. I slowed down when I came up on the spot where you laid your blanket out and told me i’m special. When I told you I didn’t believe that, you kissed me until I stopped talking. You wrote things on my back with your finger and pointed out the blonde hairs from the sun. You bit my neck and told me you love how I smelled. Then I drove by the house I told you I had a dream we lived in. The house you showed me. I couldn’t find it when I drove through this time so in my head it only exists for us. Caught in a moment in time.
