The ultimate sunshine in a bottle find -Bourjois healthy mix illuminating primer in apricot!
+ It’s cheaper than By Terry illuminating cc serum primer (by £50 quid)
+ It’s more sunkissed look than Chanel soleil tan de channel illuminating fluid
+ Compared to Collection primed & ready warm apricot that stuff has hardly any glow just a little bit brighter delivery
NAIL GAME CHANGED
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
+ File nails to, more or less, match the end of your finger shape
+ Get a cuticle pusher
+ Use a buffer
+ Make sure nails are dry and have no moisturiser on before using varnish
+ Use a basecoat - that is the game-changer
+ Leave a tiny tiny gap either side of the nail where possible (it creates an illusion and makes them look classy and somewhat longer)
+ Use a small brush (eyeliner brush) to clean up any mess
I was planning to do the yearly RIDE OR DIE round of makeup but came to the realisation that l would have just been repeating myself big time.
So instead here are my recent discoveries, mostly gifted to me or shopped in sales over the Christmas holidays.
No7 eyeshadow trio, my favourite being the midnight blue that l use to line my waterline.
H&M liquid eyeliner and a brow gel, both great products that cost me couple of pounds in the sales.
Lancôme best ever makeup remover and Hypnôse mascara.
Ted Baker lipstick rich creamy red with a tiny tiny bit of coolness.
Primark+Alex Steinherr plumping lipgloss which is more like a really hydrating minty lip balm with a little bit of colour.
Nanshy makeup sponge, softest of them all.
Looking back l’m glad to say l’ve recovered well from the makeup addiction wave that took over me for couple of years.
I did learn a lot and l’ve found a good every day makeup routine to make myself appear more put together and confident to go and conquer the world like a girl boss would.
But yeah l used to collect all the packaging in case l needed compare ingredients etc. Looking at it all together, that’s a lot of makeup!
Clever things to note
