Techy Update!
Hope everyone is getting excited about our approaching fair!
We are very happy to announce that Apple, Microsoft, and Best Buy have agreed to be sponsors!
The food and drinks will be catered by Wawa! If you have gone to this convenience/gas station before, you know that they use touch technology in their ordering process. What a cool combination of technology and food!
When arriving, you will be given a dark blue wrist band which will allow you one free water bottle. Food and other drinks will be provided separate.
Our "Techy T-shirts" have been made in men, women, and children sizes. They will be on sale for $10.
We have received forms and fees for 15 vendors so far. If you wish to be a part of our fair, please contact us and we will send you the appropriate forms. We will also send you the address to send your cash/check deposit (for privacy reasons, we do not wish to publicly release the address). On the day of the fair, you will be given PURPLE wrist bands which will provide you will access to 1 order of Wawa food and free coffee/tea provided by the Holiday Inn. Please keep this wrist band on at all times.
We are also ecstatic to say our volunteer number have grown to 18! Thank you for offering us your time, Techies! (You have hopefully been sent the email regarding the time of the training sessions. If not, it was answered on the homepage of this blog.) Volunteers will be given special Techie shirts. Please specify your size and gender preference for the shirt on your forms. You are expected to wear them while at the fair as it will be your food/drink "ticket".
