So as you may or may not have noticed I'm not very active on tumblr anymore. Especially when it comes to messages it has become a little overwhelming to answer all of you. Hi! I am currently at my biggest. Weighing in at 205 🙈 I am not ashamed because I let excuses and life get the best of me. I am devoted to my HEALTHY weight loss journey and life style change! I am not discouraged about my goals but excited! I just need some help on how to get started! Any advice and tips you have on how to begin?!

Just start moving. Just start eating right. It sounds so easy doesn't it :D 

Luckily there are a lot of posts, websites and guidelines on the internet on to how to start losing weight. I’d suggest you read into “the right nutrition” a bit. But also always read it with a bit of a critical mindset. Everybody can post whatever they want on here and it doesn't always have to be right or true. Obviously cut out on sugar and processed fats. Go on to healthy carbs. and focus on proteins in your diet. But there are many ways to really optimise this to your specific individual needs. and no one knows those better than you. :)

I'm a new follower but I'd love to know, how much cardio do you do and what kind? Hope you are feeling better! ♡

Hi and thanks for following <3 I do cardio before and after every work out. and on some days I do cardio only. I usually go on the stationary bike, the elliptical or the stepper.( Not a big fan of treadmills) I do 25 minutes before the workout and 20 mins after. But lately I’ve started to go in km/miles rater than minutes. Cardio is still a pain in the ass for me (excuse my french!) So if I have the goal of a certain distance, I push myself to go faster, so it doesn't take that long, but also I sweat more, my heat rate goes up and my metabolism boosts more through that. And obviously.. it’s over a lot quicker than watching and counting the seconds go by :D

When you do cardio (for example treadmill) how many calories do you burn?

That really depends on your height, weight, gender also, the pace you're doing it in. It’s a very individual number.

15 pounds left til goal weight. Hit a plateau after a few health problems (that are now gone!) But I seem to have stalled out even once I've got back in groove. Tips to pick up the motivation for that last stretch?

you've come so far already. Don’t stop. Don’t let that plateau stop you from achieving your goal. Push through! There’s really not much more I can say than that. Be proud of what you have achieved so far, and be curious of how far you can still go!

hello, i love your blog! since september i have lost around 40 pounds. i have never felt happy with my body and always feel guilty for eating sometimes (even though there is no reason to, as my body would thank me for eating good foods.) i go on holiday on the second of august and i need to loose more weight for myself (not even just for the holiday.) i work out each day and eat clean, sometimes im curious about portion sizes... do you have any tips on weight loss in a short period of time? x

If you've been following my blog, you know that I’m not a big fan of “weight loss in a short period of time” But I think that August is a realistic goal to lose some more weight. Well you know the thing is, with weight loss, as with anything in life, the golden rule is, if you want to achieve something, you need to put in the effort. so if you want to see results faste, you need to do more, harder work. Its absolutely possible to lose some more weight in the next two months. Never feel guilty for eating. Especially not if you know you're eating healthy. You're actually doing something good for your body. so keep that good eating habit. But try to maybe work out more if you can incorporate it in your day. Work out with higher weights, since that is a good way to lose more fat. Do cardio! It’s crucial for weight loss. Try to have 30 mins of cardio a day. I know that sounds hard, because our days are usually so planned and limited in time. But this is something you want for yourself. Make it a priority! There are a lot of ways to incorporate this in your day to day life without even making big changes or sacrifices. Take the stairs. Walk. Park your car further away so you need to take extra steps. Move more when cleaning ( blast some music and just dance like nobody’s watching) Find your way in doing this. It’s your body. It’s your life. It’s your choice. You just have to make it!

Heey love your blog😻💪 So the thing is that even though I've been working out regularly for about 2 months, I don't see any impressive results!😏 I don't always stick to my diet program but I try to eat the healthier I can! I really can't figure out what I'm doing wrong though.. Any ideas that can help me?😋❤️

well if you really don't see any results you might be doing something wrong. keep in mind that working out is just a part of weight loss. Your diet actually has a bigger impact on losing weight. you have to see it this way: nutrition is the fuel for your body. If you don't give it the right fuel it can't perform right. try to cut down on carbs for a while. With that I don't mean no carbs at all. The right and healthy carbs are actually a very important source of energy. So try to get them through whole grain bread, pasta, brown rice. But still keep it in moderation. And concentrate on having enough protein in your diet. I know it’s hard to stick too that because there are so many temptations out there :D but when I get into that phase when I really want to give my body and my workout progress a boost I try to have only one carb based meal a day ( energy source) and the for the other two I concentrate on having protein, fruits and veggies

any tips on some fun cardio? I hate it, but I know it's the way to weight loss!

i totally get what you mean. I hate cardio too but I’ve made it a constant part of my workout. Fun cardio ... hmm have you tried dancing? I used to do zumba a lot. The music is fun and it motivates you to move, also zumba (and basically any other dancing) is a full body workout as well. 

also, biking, inline skating, swimming. Those are all cardio exercises that can be fun and you can do it with your friends or alone. 

i hope this helped at least a little. basically it’s just about moving. Just keep moving ;)

“Long Time No Read” and a very inspiring young man

Well, once again I’ve been m.i.a. from this blog and I sincerely apologize for that, but if you’ve been a follower for a while now, you should now that I come and go as University allows me to.

Ive been slacking motivation lately. I am just overwhelmed with exams at the moment and I keep telling myself that I “just can’t find the time to go to the gym”! stupid excuses I know I know, but at least I’ve been eating right and trying to walk a lot during the day to get at least a little bit of exercise in. So as I was taking a break from studying today, scrolling through 9gag to basically shut my brain off for a few minutes I came across this awesome guy right here and I got motivated, inspired and looking forward to hit the gym again soon.
