Hello! I was wondering, sorry to bother you but I really wanted to become a social worker, helping children is like my passion. But my family looks down on it because you don't get that much money. Is there any type of social worker that I could become that would please my family financially, but also that I would enjoy and could help children in?

Hello! I apologize. for some reason I am no longer getting notifications and have no idea how old this question is. Unfortunately social work salary ranges from state to state and field to field. Usually when someone wants to be a bit more financially stable they lean towards Child Protective Services. But again, depends on the degree, experience and your job. Best of luck!

hi! i am currently getting my bachelors in social work and will be going to grad school for my masters in the next few years. my question is do social workers often get drug tested? I have had severe anxiety my whole life and i have found that marijuana really helps with it. I can’t wait to be a social worker so that i can help others with the same things that i have faced. But i don’t want my marijuana use to jeopardize that.

Hi! Depends on your place of work. Some agencies do drug test as a pre employment screening and may do random tests

Hi! I did get a small scholarship and then took out loans but you don't get financial aide. Hope this helps
