When she thinks you’re gay (part 2)

After letterdoodler had successfully, accidentally, but completely clasped her ex’bestfriend’s butt cheek, she felt like nothing in the world could ever destroy her. Not in the same way written in romantic books, but more along the lines of, “Nothing gets worse than this.”

Pretending, as though nothing had indeed happened, letterdoodler went home. It didn’t get better there.

Letterdoodler is known to have a record with boys. So, as letterdoodler and her mum were in the escalator, her mum casually asked, out of normal parental concern,”Do you have a boyfriend, Letterdoodler?” 

“No”, she replied, just a bit too casually. She blamed the casualness on the preceding incidents of the day.

“Oh.......”, her mum breathed out in relief. But the relief quickly turned into curiosity- the kind that killed a cat.

“I’m not into guys like that anymore”, letterdoodler said with the intention of sounding innocent, but straight, “I’d rather be with my girls.” Which was a total lie, of course, but that didn’t matter. She was steering clear of boy-talk.

“Oh?” her mum looked baffled, “Well, I support all your actions. Just know what you are doing. I’m on your side.”

“Uhmm...sure.....”, the idiot replied, never realizing that her mum now thinks that she is a lesbian. Not that being gay were a bad thing. But that just wasn’t letterdoodler!

To this day, letterdoodler’s mum thinks that she is into women.

Advantage of this situation: Boys can come and go as they please, because remember, letterdoodler’s gay, right? ;P

When she thinks you’re gay (part 1)

Recently, letterdoodler had the (mis)fortune to meet one of her oldest best friends. Probably from over half a decade ago. Though they were “best friends”, neither one of them really liked one another. It was all namesake. While the bestie went around bitching about letterdoodler, letterdoodler with her own sense of authority, went around doing pretty much the same. Yes, it was a terrible era of stupidity and uselessness. Thank all the forces in the world, that, that has changed now. Atleast for letterdoodler.

Anyways, they met. And it was weird. Really, really uncomfortable, with each one soaking in the silence of the other, reminiscing the terrible times. But letterdoodler is a conversationalist! So, she managed to get herself, and the brat talking in no time! Although, now it seems to letterdoodler, as though maybe, she should have just shut up. For letterdoodler has this charm. A charm that attracts everyone- whether they like it or not.

Letterdoodler could tell, that the brat was mesmerized. But she couldn’t help thinking,”What would the brat tell her new besties? Would she still bitch about me?” Letterdoodler gave up the guess work in the end, and figured that it didn’t really matter what the brat said. Atleast letterdoodler had better friends. Real friends.

So, she stayed funny and charming, all the way to the end, because no one really cared. But especially so, because now it felt like she had been perfectly awesome the ENTIRE time. There was nothing the brat could bitch about.Until, of course, it was time for letterdoodler to leave. And good God, did she mess that up!

Not much of a hugger, never really been one, letterdoodler got stiff when the brat hugged her goodbye. But she decided to go with the flow. MAJOR MISTAKE. Being almost two whole feet taller than the brat, letterdoodler’s arms ended up clasping the brat’s butt cheek. GREAT.

It’s hilarious, really!

It’s really funny, how one minute people can get you thinking that they hate you and that they are better of with you. And then the very next moment, they have you by their side, saying all the while, that now they know what they have been missing their entire lives, and a WHOLE lot of other crap. Familiar, much?
