In these episodes, anxiety attacks will pursue and there will be little to no way to awake him from these episodes. If anything, trying to intervene will only worsen these episodes and will make him turn violent; Do not intervene until he wakes up or you will only be seen as part of the experience he's fighting against.

ᴅᴀɴɪᴇʟ ᴅ'ᴀʀʙʏ ʜᴇᴀᴅ-ᴄᴀɴᴏɴ : Daniels' gambling habit began at the age of 9 because his father made the boy deal the cards and shuffle the deck. 13 years old however, it evolved from a simple hobby to an addiction and quickly became a lifeline for the young boy.

He'd gamble for anything in the slightest just to feel a simplistic thrill that accompanied the feeling of gambling and nothing more. It went from cheap thrills to a means of escape from his abuse father and his brothers verbally abusive father, oftentimes having to leave his little brother home with their sickly mother; If things got too bad during his gambling runs (getting caught cheating persay) then he wouldn't return home for days on end to his own disappointment.

" Ah those! Well I can recall this story from start to finish so I'd suggest pulling up a chair for this one.

It was June 24th, 1972; I was seventeen at the time, living with ma and Terrences' old man still, and had a friendly gamble with a man who happened to have won a bet against Terrences' father. Needless to say, a pack of cigarettes later and misreading a poker face, I took my stepfather and my own loss onto my shoulders for getting caught cheating. I wasn't as skilled with my card dealing as a seventeen year old kid so to "brandish" me as a cheater back home, he had my face marked up. Unfortunately, that's how my brother got his tattoo as well seeing as his father was a real work of art who'd rather put his kid up as a bargaining chip then pay up what he owed as well. Ma still didn't leave the man but what can I say? The woman was sick and needed money in the end, even if it came from another gambler so she tended to not care about a lot of big things; Her seven year old son getting his face tattooed was just a mild inconvenience. " Do you mean the grey tabby cat, Missy? If that's the cat you're asking about I can guarantee that I got her out of the attic of a property I owned in Egypt, alongside her siblings and mother. I raised and trained them all; Missy, Blackjack, Domino, Ace, and Dice were their names but only Missy stuck around.

The rest know different tricks; From pulling cards out of your hands, sliding poker chips over, and various other gimmicks... There's certainly a good number of cats I've trained but haven't seen since I joined Dios' employ.

Doesn't help Animal Shop tries eating Missy on the daily. "

ᴅᴀɴɪᴇʟ ᴅ'ᴀʀʙʏ ʜᴇᴀᴅ-ᴄᴀɴᴏɴ : Though he'd never openly admit such a feat, he does sincerely care for his younger brother, Terrence, and is otherwise terrible at showing such things. He has extreme difficulty expressing his actual emotions - This is coupled with his gambling expertise and a rather "old fashioned" father [you know the one that was the epitome of toxic masculinity] - he will not display his means of caring for the other as openly as one would expect. Granted, in their youth, Daniel protected his brother as best he could from his father and Terrences' own [as Terrence had a different father] by either taking the blame for something being broken, he hardened in general given Terrence would do anything for their mothers attention.

Daniel, despite these issues and fights endured, does take his role as a big brother seriously by the end of the day.

ᴅᴀɴɪᴇʟ ᴅ'ᴀʀʙʏ ʜᴇᴀᴅ-ᴄᴀɴᴏɴ : Daniel has really bad Pediophobia and absolutely cannot stand look at or so much as being looked at by dolls. Pediophobia is the unwarranted, irrational and persistent fear or worry of dolls. Granted, his fear worsened when he was picking up a young Terences room for him and a doll spoke a full blown sentence to him and he greatly dislikes dolls, he always felt strange when he'd pass through the hallway leading upstairs as their shared mother was a doll collector herself. Daniel got rid of most of the dolls of their mothers after she passed away, leaving him the family home to raise Terence in but he let Terence pick one doll to keep.

He's also why that custom wardrobe Terence uses exists as he had it custom built to hide his dolls from Daniel as to not send the other into a fear driven anxiety.

ᴅᴀɴɪᴇʟ ᴅ'ᴀʀʙʏ ʜᴇᴀᴅ-ᴄᴀɴᴏɴ : Daniels' favorite alchoholic beverage is, while simplicity itself to make, would have to be a Cowboy Cocktail. Half and Half mixed with Bourbon (or whiskey), this is a go to drink for himself on nights where he feels like having something light to drink and not feel the aftermath of.

Otherwise? A "go to" is his anti-hangover regiment, a Prairie Oyster with gin sprinkled in it. Consisting of one egg yolk, salt with pepper, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and some chilled gin to make it go down easier. Prairie Oyster drinks became commonplace once he hit 21, oftentimes leading to his then 11 year old brother mocking the man for his insolence but he officially only started adding gin into the mix after his ribs got broke when he was 25.

🍎  :    how stable is my muse’s mental health?  have they been diagnosed with any mental illnesses and  /  or conditions?  do they have any undiagnosed mental illnesses and  /  or conditions?  do they or should they attend therapy?    》 Daniel, for the longest time, was undiagnosed given the fact his old fashioned father had pounded into his head that mental illness wasn't exactly as important. He has severe anxiety, which causes him to break into a sweat and chew on his lips to the point they bleed; Serious fits will just make him shut down completely, all rational thought leaving to instead be replaced by nonsensical babbling as a sort of defense mechanism. He also has anger issues that will result in him clinching his hand around whatever is nearest to him; These issues, coupled with his mental shutdown spurred on by Jotaro actually caused Osiris to lash out at mental hospital staff who were trying to subdue him. He also has a form of PTSD that developed due to Jotaros bluffing nearly costing him his life. If he lost, he KNEW Dio would've had him killed for failure and "betrayal", causing the man to never look at cards the same way again; Luckily, he eventually moves on and gets back into the swing of playing cards again but there's that undeniable fear of encountering Jotaro again. Luckily, despite his humiliation at the hands of the Crusaders, he finally gets diagnosed and gets the medication he needs to help combat these issues.

🍇  :    how would my muse describe their childhood?  how much has it impacted the person they are now,  or will become as an adult?  around what age did they or will they start to mature,  and why?  do they wish to go back to their days as a child,  or have they embraced adulthood?   》 From an early age, Daniel was exposed to gambling; His father was a addictive man when it came to booze and a good round or two of poker. His father was a man of malice and disdain, oftentimes arguing with Daniel's sickly mother over his own gambling problems and using his son as a scapegoat or wager. For instance, the facial tattoos were done all because his father lost a bet so he volunteered his own son to endure the payment. He grew to despise the man who had been physical with him multiple times, the two often fighting to the point Daniel left home for hours to days on end. Luckily, the stains of childhood, that immense need to be better than that man who was his father, have all but diminished though he's still learning new things given his father was "old fashioned." Daniel relishes in being an adult, to be free of the burden that was sat on his shoulders when his brother was born; He may not seem it, but he did take his big brother role seriously and would take any unwanted pressure by his own father or Terences' father off of his younger sibling.

🍑  :    how meticulously does my muse look after their physical appearance?  do they spend a lot of time on their hair,  makeup,  grooming,  and clothing?  is there a particular reason why they do or don’t?   》 Daniel has a very particular timetable he sticks to that begins every morning at 5am; Cycling from a messy haired man to the well known look we all associate with him, it's nearly impossible to get the man to break a well practiced stride. He's meticulous about his appearance and upholds his image very well he'd like to believe; Shaving off any excess facial hair, washing his face, showering, getting the wavy hair back under control... He spends more on his physical appearance depending upon the actions of the previous night. He get a little deep in his cups so to speak? It'll take him over an hour. Came home and went to sleep? Maybe a good 40 minutes.

🍒  :    how much does my muse value companionship?  do they constantly keep people around them,  or do they prefer to be alone often?  do they have or desire to have many friends?  do they see every meeting as an opportunity to make a new friend?     》 Daniel never had many "true" friends, just enemies or individuals at casinos and bars recognizing the man who is something of a regular to their respective branch. Now, that isn't to say he doesn't keep people around (no pun intended): Daniel keeps potential collectors pieces in sight as well as people he knows will be of great strategic importance to his exploits. He doesn't like to dwell on it, but he has great charisma and an even more proficient silver tongue; Being friends with Daniel, while rare, is probably one of the more genuine moments where you're kept close. He'll maintain contact as best he can and learn all the quirks he can about someone who interests him, evaluating on autopilot if you can provide him any use for exploits, but otherwise not aiming to put you in his collection unless you peeve him off or willingly bet your soul. In the instance of getting to befriend him, just know that he will keep you close and, if he feels like it, might remove toxic individuals from your picture if you say the word: Be it by making a bet or, having one of the individuals who more or less are indebted to him beat on that individual. He's never directed involved of course, aiming to puppeteer from the sidelines.

🍊  :    does my muse desire romance?  is it something they would actively seek out,  or prefer to happen more  ‘  naturally?  ’  what is their love life like?  do they have any exes or past flings,  or crushes?     》 Daniel has always had issues keeping committed to his relationships; He don't cheat per say, but it's just this lingering question and feeling of "You CAN do better so why are you dating me?" Most of his flings are sporadic or even one night stands, though he has managed to keep a relationship with a woman back in Chicago going for a month until he tampered off. He's got plenty of "exes" and plenty of past relationships but, again, he has issues keeping in relationships; Yet despite his inept misfortune of breaking it off frequently, deep down, he does want to at least know what love feels like. He himself doesn't exactly have the best means of processing emotions for another human being, much less attachment, but he'd love to experience what this feels like at least once. He's more of a natural guy in these things, oftentimes letting potential partners come to him as, again, he has issues with self expression.

Now, let me be more clear on this; If I had to further express why I've never enjoyed children, you can blame that mostly on my brother. That, and one thing I absolutely loathe is a childs cries: Not in a "oh no, the baby is crying so I have to calm it" sort of way, but I'm more so annoyed when children cry for no evidently good reason. Would I kill a kid? Well.... "

He is supposed to be an assassin after all, and he'd hopefully have the sense to be subtle in the use of Set; But this is Alessi we're talking about, God knows that man doesn't use his brain.

In practice? It can be effective, I hear that people affected lose their memories the longer they suffer the effects and with the right amount of time being bide... It could make his job as an assassin quite effective.

Assuming he don't kill his targets in front of crowds. If you kill a target, do they still remain children or revert back to adults? If they look like kids still, I can imagine you could make targets deaths look like the byproduct of a freak accident for a toddler or something; Easier to get away with in that case. "

" I'd say the day /he\ left but even that wasn't exactly "childhood," I was nineteen at that time. Hmm... I'll humor you and say the day I was oh so pleasantly gifted a brother. He... Wasn't all that bad as a child. He wasn't entirely a monster by that point, and granted, I absolutely loathed hearing the little shithead cry all the time as a baby or when he'd wail then accuse me of hitting him to get our mothers affection but... Yeah, the day he was born was a decent enough day. It was snowing that day, our mother had been in labor for ten whole hours; Terence was almost born on the 4th, just three hours short. I remember it quite clearly, I hated hearing our mothers ragged cries as she tried pushing Terence from her body but getting to hold my baby brother for the first time?

Something told me that this kid, as tortuous he'd be with his fits as a toddler, would be important in my life. Did I know good or bad? Of course, I did not know at that time but I did my best to keep him safe. He may not see it, nor believe it, but I used to take my "big brother" role seriously. "
