|| So I haven’t been on this blog in forever because I got distracted by Mr. Elric ( @alchemic-elric​)  feel free to bother him. Ed talks to everybody. But holy fuck guys. I have no rules. That’s how old this blog is. That’s shameful. I will have to write something up in coming days. I probably need to tend to Yeags too; good god.

I have nothing in here introducing myself etc. I am ashamed of myself. The way I handle things has changed a lot since being here.  (you can see that with Ed’s blog; I put a lot of work into him)  

But I’m here, in and out. For those of you, I’m local Tales old lady, Kira. I’m 32 guys when the hell did that happen??? I hope you’re ready to have some chaos again.  It might be a minute as I get things back to proper order cause holy fuck my blog is a mess.

Discord Anon: I just saw your personal blog and... I have no words to express how sorry I am for your loss. I can’t even imagine what you’re going through right now. I want you to know that you are absolutely allowed to feel whatever it is that you’re feeling right now. I’m not very good at talking about this sort of thing, but I am truly, deeply sorry, and sending you lots of love and virtual hugs right now, even though you don’t know me. || It’s a day by day process.  Honestly I hadn’t been on this blog for a long time and coming back to find this both is comforting and tears the wound back open. I know thats not what  your intent was and I thank you for your kind words, it’s just kinda like living in that moment all over again. I do truly deeply and truly appreciate your words. I don’t want you to think that I don’t. I do. 

I drew a lot of my personal traits for my Yeager Muse from my father so this is very personal to me, and it’s a true day - to - day coping process. Thank you for checking in on me. Thank you for finding my personal to do so.  

I’m sorry I let this set for 3 months before I did anything about it.

Hi guys! Let me (re) introduce myself. 

I’m Kira and have run  @brave-vesperias-yuri and @leviathans-ruin ‘s on and off over the past 8 years. I have a lot of things fleshed out on both blogs and things I’m stubborn on. Please be sure to read both accounts, there’s a lot of information there. I’m sorry in advance.

Sorry for my absence, convention season, therefore commission season is upon us. I have been sewing wefts into a wig all day. I’ll be on and off busy for a while now because I have a lot of wigs and costumes to sew / create. 

I also don’t think I’ll stay up as late as I usually do. My physicarist  has me taking my anxiety meds before i go to sleep now in order slow everything down and get some sleep.

Rita cocked her head as she looked at him. “It’s not like I didn’t chase you out of your office, through a window, and into the very clearing we’re talking about.”

And it’s not like I haven’t ransacked this place. Twice. Rita turned and headed upstairs.

“We can argue about a theory,” she called over her shoulder, “or I can gather real data. I’ll be back in a half hour.”

Rita thought about telling Yeager to relax, but that would be too precious coming from her.

He made a face that only a child would make. It was easy to see he was uncomfortable. It was easy to see that he was trying his best to ignore such moments of his life. He was painfully aware that Brave Vesperia and company had already raided his home, stolen weapons from his person store rooms, and proceeded to force him into such a corner that he was forced to escape through a window. 

Oh. He was painfully aware.  

He crossed his legs as she left, rolling his eyes once she was out of sight. There were certainly low spots in his life that he’d rather not think about and that was one of them. It lead to... it lead to a complication that he’d never imagined and blood on his hands that he’d never wanted. 

So he turned back to the book he’d been reading moments before their conversation. If she wanted to wander around a place she didn’t live and could get turned around in easily, who was he to stop her. He only owned the property she was standing on. It’s not like it was his home or anything. 

Honestly, some people could be so rude. But if she was sure there was a spirit taking up residence in his home, he’d rather know about it than not. The entire point of this was to get her to trust him, so he’d just have to endure it for now.

She finished typing, and printed the formula. As she pulled it off the device, she spotted the custom watermark on the back of the formula.

Wow. How old is this thing?

Rita had retrieved it from a shack she’d used as an alternate lab after Aspio had been destroyed, and she’d lost her brand-new one.

Focus, Mordio.

“Also, there’s an aer krene at Keiv Moc, which is less than a mile away,” she continued, returning the device to the pocket it had been in.

“All the signs point to a spirit taking up residence in your office.”

Now all Rita needed to do was go upstairs and confirm that.

A spirit? That would explain why she didn’t want him to go upstairs, but that doesn’t completely explain her theory. His symptoms rest almost solely in his office because that was where he spent the majority of his time. It wasn’t like he hadn’t had a dizzy spell in other parts of the manor, or in the forest surrounding it. There had been once or twice when training new men that he had to catch himself, and more than once that the railing of the stairs had stopped him from falling. 

He worked too much. That was all that was going on - wasn’t it?

It bothered him, because it was something he had no control over and it bothered him more because he had yet to truly dedicate any time to studying spirits. Too much to deal with considering he was trying to get two guilds to run properly after such a long absence from them. The aer krene caused him little trouble before, why would it cause him trouble now? Was it acting up and he just was unaware of it? 

“If zhat’s all you zhink is going I must tell you, my office is not zhe only place I’ve had trouble.” He started with a voice that spoke of a child coming clean from their crimes. “I train zhe new members in zhe clearing behind zhe manor and I’ve had to catch myzelf more zhan once. I’ve had a few more dizzy zpells zhan I care to mention. Zhey’ve been going on for a vhile, but I kept quiet about zhem because I try not to vorry my girls. Zhey fret over me enough as it is.” He explained avoiding her eye contact. “Zhey veren’t zhat botherzome at first, but zhey had been becoming more frequent in zhe past few weeks. I just assumed I was vorking too hard and over-doing it on zhe caffeine.” He sighed, almost angry at himself for not coming to such a conclusion himself, but then again his mind has been in other places. “I’ve logged all of it in my journal however. Are you zure you don’t vant me to zhow you around? It’s no trouble.”

“Actually, if my theory is correct, you’re safer here for the time being. Do you mind if I go up there?”

While she was talking, Rita produced a device for producing one-use formulae. She unfolded it and began typing.

His head titled to the side and watched her as she worked. Her use of the word ‘safer’ was worrying to say the least, but he assumed it would be easier to comply than to argue with her. 

“No. No. My office is upztairs turn left and it’s two doors down on zhe right. I keep all my vork in a journal in zhe top left hand drawer of my desk.” He spoke, explaining to her how to get to the room that occupied most of if not almost all of his time.  “Don’t mind zhe mess zhough. Normally zhe only one in zhere is me.”  and by mess he meant crumbled papers over flowing the trash can at the foot of his desk, and the cup of stale coffee that was still probably perched in the corner of it or the stacks of books that sat on the floor of his room in neat piles of ‘read’ and ‘to read’.  By mess he meant a bunch of seemingly unorganized papers scattered across his desk and a planner open to the side in order to keep him on task. By mess he meant things he’d rather other people didn’t see but this seemed to be a case in which he couldn’t avoid such an outcome. 

“But if I may ask, vhat did you mean by zafer? Is zhere zomezhing vrong?”

You tell me I’m a good man, but I’m not sure what you mean; what that entails. There is a trail of bodies behind me, some deserving of their fate, others not. You tell me I’m good because I try, but when do I stop being a good man because I try and it’s just because you want to believe?
