I haven't been here in forever, and I don't really intend to come back. But sometimes, I can't help seeing things that validate the feelings I've had but couldn't put into words with any certainty.

Ultimately, I think lack of communication and othering made me feel alienated. Hell, I still do in other spaces, and I think it's become one of those things that will never go away from the sheer fact of faulty mental and emotional wiring. It amounts to this so-called hobby having all the joy drained out of it from intrapersonal drama and stargazing while others run with my ideas with others. Not that they're all that original in the first place, more a matter of feeling left out.

Coupled with general disregard in my darkest moments, it seemed apparent I didn't really belong in the first place to any real capacity. Or perhaps this is all in my head and the amount of intimidation factor I exude comes from never really being a happy person in the first place. So if ever I gave that impression, I apologize sincerely.

Hopefully, wherever you may find me, it would be with a bit more grace and positivity.

"Doesn't help that we had to pool resources from the war effort just to rebuild the main tower."

"Honestly, I try not to think about it too much. Looking back on it now, from the beginning it feels like he's the only one who's really had our back throughout all of this." The bottle was caught, top cracked open and the contents gratefully sucked down. Half the bottle in one go- impressive.

Maybe it was a coping mechanism, but looking for the silver lining in a setback was part of life. How people kept their hearts alive more like. "Now if we could just figure out the plumbing..."

"Ah. Am I interrupting anything?" How does this keep happening to her...

"Please don't talk like I'm doing something wrong when you can't knock." Might as well nip that in the bud while he's trying not to sweat too much.

"Just show me the reports, I'm sure we can come to a consensus pretty easily."

"My apologies, then." She's just gonna step inside and close the door behind her, carrying in one arm a stack of reports that had to be several inches thick. After handing them off to him, she seemed to take a moment to consider something. Then, having apparently come to a decision, she stripped off the jacket of her suit, followed by beginning to unbutton her shirt. Apparently, she'd concluded that toplessness was the theme of the day-

"..." Yeah clearly that was the theme today. Not like Rodolfo could be hypocritical and chastise another commander for following his example opposite gender or not.

"S-so I guess we can start by addressing any patterns of abberant raptures?"

"Well, uh...No?" What's there to be embarrassed about anyway? He was just sitting there with a bottle of water and trying not to think. Maybe just the way his co-commander seemed to...stare had an effect on him.
