Woobs released today on 4dopt, too. They’re very relaxing to make markings for compared to Chirr, and will be less of a pain to recolor and breed since they don’t require digging out which layers go with what, for the most part.

Chirr finally released to 4dopt . The top art is their current look, and the bottom older revisions, the larger two of which never saw actual use.

I would LOVE to make an entire site just around these little guys; I have a visual language and notes for how it would all work, ideas for the storyline, but what I don’t have is the time and resources to code and run it. So… 4dopt it shall be!

I have been making these babies since 2014/2015 on the Eden Enchanted pixel doll forums. If I recall they were one of the first ‘breedable’ adopts on the site. I kept track of each one’s genetics and did little Punnett Squares when breeding them to determine ear and tails etc. I hope 4dopt gets something like that eventually, but for now any babies need a lot of recolor work to set their layers nicely.

Though I generally use the mouse-like ones as examples, there are (currently) five varieties with babies able to inherit different ears/tails from their parents.

(I hope it goes without saying/don’t know who would, but under no circumstances is this art up for grabs and it is NOT released under a CC license.)

Oh my goodness!! I'm so excited right now is ridiculous. To have even one other person who remembers them is making me day.

Fun fact I still have every file and info for all of these. This lovely lady is called Bian and had three beautiful children (but none were ever ‘grown up’ it seems--though tbf I was charging as much to make an adult version as I was to breed more) and it was the ninth litter on the site. I kept almost too much data for a ‘get forum points for making pixels’ thing.

If Bian was yours and not just saved to be pretty, these were too!

And! A lil’ gift. I think I was doing them for adopting X amount or as giveaways? I dunno, it was (as you have corrected me) 2005!

Was looking at 4dopt and thinking about my Squiby adopts. These guys were ‘torf’ and while moving them to another platform would likely necessitate like... not using the Subeta ones (and that Sweetheart one is one of my favorite things I ever drew) or the Neopets ones... or the fanart ones. Is the design premise cute enough to just be ‘random colors’.

Does 4dopt support like one-off poses or distinct outlines like the flames or horns and stuff?
