little-artemis-keller:
artemis looked over at the other girl who had approached her. “artemis. not unless you can work miracles.”
With a grin, Lex nodded, “I like to think of myself as a miracle worker when it comes to the club.”Â
quentin-vandeberg:
“Then have a drink. You look like you could use one anyway, more than I do.” Quentin shrugged and pushed the glass towards her, knowing she was working, but sometimes it didn’t stop others. “Not going to lie, it’s been sub par. They should just let you go,” he went back to how her night was going because his was probably way less uneventful as hers.Â
“In about an hour, I’ll have a few,” she chuckled gently, softly shaking her head to decline the drink he had offered her, “Sub-par is not something we strive for here at Whitehill... how can I make your night better?”Â
Lex turned her head and smiled in the usual manor she kept for clients almost exclusively, "I suppose," she nodded, running her hand through her hair and sighing softly, "I'm just feeling a little useless tonight -- there's not really anyone who needs my assistance tonight..." Noticing his barely touched drink, she asked, "How's your night going?"
Lex ran her hand through her hair and bit down on her lips to plump them ever so slightly. She’d been a little bored all night, not really having too much to do and now it was close to the end of her night, the hours were really starting to drag. Looking around as she stood at the bar, the blonde watched as both clients and workers seemed to enjoy themselves and wondered with a small sigh if she was really needed that night at all.Â
little-artemis-keller:
artemis sighed as she took another long drink from her cup. she hadn’t even gotten a call from her father about her birthday. it was supposed to be her day. and this year he had been so busy it hadn’t even been her week.
Making her way through the club to see how she could help people for the night, Lex noticed a woman seemingly alone at the bar. Knowing she wasn’t an employee, she approached her with a welcoming smile, “Evening,” she hummed, “I’m Lex, is there anything I can help you with tonight?”Â
seporahblake:
seporah didn’t expect him to find her. her ex stood at the entrance and stared at her like a lion looking at her prey. she didn’t hesitate to run and go into halls. she ran into the closest room she could find and slammed the door shut before locking it. she slid down the door and listened closely to see if she was being followed but she couldn’t hear anything. she let out a shaky breath and buried her face in her hands. not even noticing that someone was in there with her.
Making her way through the back of house to finish off some work Lex had to do, the blonde noticed someone rushing away from her. Looking behind her to see if there was someone there, she wondered where the woman was going and why, Lex moved down the hall and gently knocked on the door the brunette had disappeared behind, “Hey...” she hummed gently, “Are you okay?”Â
nate--richards:
Nate pushed past the bouncers at the door, a first full of some drunken male’s jacket as he shoved him outside with ease. “Do us all a favour and stay the fuck away, okay? Just like we told last week,” the anger ran through his words clearly as he looked down at the man that had fallen on the ground. “Now go!” Once the man had stumbled away Nate shoved his hand in his jacket pocket and pulled out a pack of cigarettes, lighting one almost instantly as he moved to lean against the wall of the club, trying to calm down.Â
Lex was on her way to start the rest of her shift, having taken a fifteen minute break to run off and grab herself a coffee. Yes, there was plenty to drink at the club, but sometimes it was nice to have a warm coffee to keep her going. She preferred to be relatively sober when around clients anyway just so she could remain professional. Drinking was for days off. As she came back toward the club, her heels clicking quickly on the pavement as she rounded the corner, a brow raised as she watched a man getting physically escorted out. Turning her head toward Nate, Lex approached and asked with a raised brow, “I disappear for fifteen minutes and something exciting happens... what’s the deal?”Â
