If Sombra were the type to break into cackling laughter, she certainly would have. Instead she raises the back of her hand to her mouth, snickering quietly. Boy, someone sure thinks more highly of themselves than her intel suggested. âImpeccable royalty, huh? Iâll let you know as soon as I spot âem then. Might as well share my luck, right?â      Which is, more or less, about the point where all of Sombraâs good nature dissipates, because wow. How had Shimada put up with that?      âŠhah. Not well, all things considered.
âUh-huh, skeletal structure, right,â Sombra nods along, seemingly pensive, gaze focused on the sharp, glowing points of her gauntlets. âLet me ask you something though,â she adds conversationally, glowing violet gaze flicking briefly upward. âYou big on history? Because, you know, I figure someone who thinks theyâre âabove reproachâ knows what happens, historically,â a nail drags along her own throat in a slow gesture, âto so-called royalty who thinks like that.â
Just snickering? She was expecting something a bit wittier. âWell? Iâm still waiting for your call out.â Mushia couldnât conceive of anything, perhaps that she was a mess right now but being dirty was a temporary state.Â
Big on history? Her face grew deadly serious. âYou have. No. Ideas.â However is quickly became apparent they wouldnât be getting into any labored debate over 11th century rulers, the woman just wanted to throw around vague notions.
âItâs called getting old and weak, a factor of morality Iâve well accounted for. No one rules forever, but for a short time, those tyrants were gods of the world. You think the threat of assassination is going to frighten me away from achieving ultimate power?â She scoffed again, looking away from then .âI know the territory, so save the threats unless you want to be a stone in my path.â
