Have a Musa from Winx Club! I used to watch the show as a little girl (after my bestie introduced it to me) and absolute loved her! She was everything I aspired to be! So, in light of the terrible Netflix adaption that is getting a second season it absolutely does not deserve, I drew my favorite fairy of the Club! Both as simple line art and colored!

(By the way, forgive my coloring, I’m still trying to get the hang of Procreate)

Now, I don’t celebrate holidays for personal reasons. And I know this is a somewhat romantic piece—but I swear it was unintentional! Either way, I was suffering from artist’s block until I heard this song.

I didn’t think I’d fall in love with it, but I did and I’ve been listening to it on repeat ever since . And wouldn’t you know if, this song lifted my artist’s block like it had never existed! It’s still very much a WIP, but this is a piece that shows how much I love my husband, who has stuck with me and put up with my dumb stuff for 4 (going on 5!) years. And that song will complement my drawing as well as show that after all this time, I still very much am a sucker for him ❤️.

Anyway, this was just an update of sorts (as well as an explanation for this piece). Once I finish it, I’ll post it on my art insta and probably here too.

Y’all, I swear I’m not dead. I’ve just been real busy with life. I’ve had a job for a couple of months now (though I’m currently hunting for a different one) and I just haven’t had time nor inspiration to draw. I’ll try to post some stuff soon though—Hopefully.

So um..... I may have a *small* (JFG) problem...

I do believe this is the first time I've drawn both the twins together! I used to doodle them on my school work back in HS; and yet, I still struggled to draw Juno here, hence, his more rough look compared to Vela.

Either way, it was fun to relieve those memories!
