they say it’s easy to leave you behind I don’t wanna try
[ pretty much completely revamping this blog! ]
Let go, let go, let go of everything
Every Good Boy Deserves a Favour
† —— Since when did he have to work for something that was ruining him?
It was fear that stopped him from declining the deal, as he wasn’t sure how else to get his hands on any alcohol, since he no longer got any money from home and was surrounded by strangers that didn’t indulge in acts of kindness. This might be the kindest act he’d witnessed in days.
”Yes,” Sebastian replied, trying not to think about what he might have signed up for by agreeing.
♡ —— "Good," Liam spoke, making his way to the end of the road, where he turned to walk down a path leading into a park. It was a nicer walk, a quieter one. More private.
It was hard to sense what exactly was at the core of the boy's problems. He was chaotically sad and Liam couldn't find a clear way through his thoughts to find more weak spots. Manipulation was much less tiring than hypnosis, after all.
Every Good Boy Deserves a Favour
† —— What did he have to offer anyone, Sebastian wondered and he almost figured it was a trick question that had no answer and would only result in him being disappointed, realizing he had nothing to give. That only made his longing for alcohol stronger, however.
”Anything…”
♡ —— Liam grinned and nodded shortly. "I was hoping you would say that," he spoke, standing up straight again and holding out his hand to get the other off the wooden bench and towards his residence. "We'll play a little game," he said, looking back at the desperate alcoholic. "You'll get a small glass for the effort and after that you need to prove yourself worthy of more," he grinned a little. At least if he made it into something like this, it would be satisfying for him too. "Do we have a deal?"
Every Good Boy Deserves a Favour
† —— Sebastian looked up, though he couldn’t say he registered what he saw at all. There was just that question he’d been asked and that word that rung out. Help… “I want — I want…” he started, but his voice faded to nothing when he tried to compose his question. “Drink…” he then stated. That was all he knew. That was the single thing he trusted to help him and he was far too conscious of it right now. He was far too conscious of thoughts in general… of having feelings… “Drink, please…”
♡ —— Liam took in the other's desperation and nodded slowly. It wasn't as such that he wanted to help this boy, he just... wanted him and in addition to get that, he'd have to offer something. He didn't want anymore arrogance within the group.
"What do I get in return, if I let you browse my cellar?" he questioned, sinking down to kneel before the boy.
Ohstyn wasn’t sure what made her so doubtful, in that moment, as she had been so sure that the only way through this was out of the club. But he didn’t leave. And not even when the moment had passed did she make way for the door.
"It’s alright," she replied, while it wasn’t. She’d stopped her movements to the music and instead was looking towards the boy that had interrupted her so crudely. She smiled a bit, hoping he’d move on and continue to ignore her, like he’d obviously done before knocking into her.
Liam sensed her displeasure with his interruption and nodded apologetically once more, before turning around to walk away in the direction she had already been facing. She'd see him walk and turn back towards her, almost shyly, slightly embarassedly, playfully.
He took two steps back in her direction, her eyes still on her. No messing around. He cut to the chase. "Can I buy you a drink?" he asked over the music, smiling at her a little embarrassedly, as if this weren't a trick he'd used before to get someone to dance for him. She was a very pretty one, though, definitely a good addition, if she proved to be what she seemed.
Every Good Boy Deserves a Favour
♡ —— Timeless was a word that would fit Liam Taylor if one was told to describe him in one. Timeless in the way that in none he seemed to fit. He was alien to every era and every person who's eyes fell on him. Why? A look in his eyes -- yet it was those eyes exactly that made one look away once more, as if they'd never seen anything out of the ordinary.
He felt something. A saddened longing, deprivation, addiction. "Can I help you?" he asked carefully while turning towards the sulking boy. He couldn't be any younger than eighteen, but there was something within him that was a lot younger. The bear said enough.
"No. Well… a little. Just because we learnt it in school, not because I like it."
♡ —— Liam looked the young boy in the eye and gave him a small smile. "I bet you could like it if you try to," he spoke, waiting for eye contact to make his words that bit more convincing. "Come with me. I'll show you."
