Rotten Town || Liam & Kendall
Kendall took in a deep breath, “Okay, I just don’t want to be the whiney girlfriend who always has problems. It’s just annoying. I don’t want to be that annoying girl who like is crying for attention and shit.” She sighed, “Fine…lets just go home. I just want to go to bed and wake up in the morning feeling better.” The headed towards the door, she didn’t bother to look up at Liam. “I mean, it’s just the typical thing. Drunk people being….drunk? There was about 5 of them I think. But like 3 of them were just touching me in places that no one besides me or you could touch. But I don’t wanna think about it anymore.” She stepped closer to him and just held him. “Okay, this doesn’t feel good.” She let go of him and walked faster. “I’m sorry.”
Liam stuck his hands in his pockets. "Jesus Christ, Kendall, you have a right to expel your problems, especially if they're as serious as this.." He shook his head and chewed on his lip. "Yeah, okay, I'll sleep on the floor, you can have the bed." He peered at her as she walked faster. "I'm sorry that happened to you. I should never have left. It's late out and it's dangerous, I'm never leaving you alone at night again." He sighed and blinked, looking back at the ground. He didn't know anything to say that would make her feel better, so he kept his distance, letting her do what she wanted.

She heard Liam’s voice and she closed her eyes, “Shit.” She put the puppy back down and then slowly turned herself to look at him, “I was just telling the puppy a story that I read in the paper. I was doing an impromptu. Yeah, that’s what it’s called.” She stood up and then got out from the play pin area, “Why are you here anyways?” She crossed her arms and stared at him, “Aren’t we walking home seperately?”
Liam sighed and shifted from foot to foot. "No, that's actually what happened, wasn't it? They touched you?" He shook his head and stepped forward, wanting to hold her, wanting to comfort her. He blinked a few times and looked down with his mouth slightly open. "I think you need to start wearing pants." He knitted his eyebrows together. That was supposed to be a joke, but he couldn't find it in himself to laugh. Actually, he was being quite serious. "Shit, no I'm not leaving you alone now. Let's go back to my place, we can spend the night there and sort moving arrangement out in the morning, let's go." He gestured towards the door. "Do you.. Want to talk about it?" He looked up at her and gave her a concerning look. "I mean, holy shit Kendall, that's not cool." He didn't really know what else to say.

What if the people she screamed at before followed her home? Fuck. She should’ve thought it all out, but she didn’t. She sighed and when she felt a hand on her shoulder she started running. She heard the person say something, but couldn’t make out the words. What was with people touching her? Fuck. She felt her heart racing, and when she spotted a pet store she ran in there. It was safe. No creepy people. Nobody but innocent animals. She spotted a puppy that was cute so she walked over to it, she sighed, “Look at you,” she scratched his back and laughed when he showed signs of happiness. “Well, I’m glad one person here enjoys getting touched. Well, not that I’m touching you. But….you know.” She walked into the giant area that was designed for customers to interact with the pets they planned to purchase, “You know what I hate? I hate when guys just think they could feel you up because they’re guys. I hate how guys could just touch you and then it triggers back bad memories. It sucks. Really,” she held the puppy in her arms, “Is there a really I always get sexually abused? Is it because I look like a slut or am I wearing some whorish outfit?” She saw some people staring at her and she looked back at the puppy, “But you’re not like that, right? Tell me not all men are like that.”
Liam's face was shocked into a confused expression as she ran away. "Is that how you feel about me?" He muttered to himself before lunging off after her. As she disappeared into the pet store, Liam stood outside for a moment before walking in behind her. He slowly made his way over to her, standing behind a shelf of dog food as she talked to the puppies, making sure he wasn't disturbing her. A disgusted look plastered onto his face. Shit. He understood now. Why she was avoiding holding hands, or why she wasn't eating. "Not all men are like that, no." He said, stepping behind her. "I mean, I sure as hell am not." He furrowed his eyebrows looking down at her. "It's just me, Kendall, you don't need to run." He avoided touch this time because he actually understood.

Kendall downed some of Liam’s water along with her pills. She waved her arm up and when the waiter came over, she handed him the cash. “Just keep the change.” She smiled at him and then headed out the door. Why did she have to wear heels? Why couldn’t she go with flats or something, “Fucking shit.” She walked outside and felt dizzy. The air smelt smoky, and it was dark. Okay, maybe if she just kept walking without looking at anyone, her anxiety would go away. She took in a deep breath and then started coughing. Maybe she shouldn’t have taken a deep breath because of the smoky air, she looked at a group of smokers and shouted, “Selfish!” She shook her head and started to walk faster.
Liam looked around and began thinking of leaving again. He didn't want her to win. It was too late at that point, because he saw her long elegant figure leave the doors of the place. He cleared his throat and began to follow her down the sidewalk. He jogged up to her, laying a hand on her shoulder. "Kendall," He sighed, trying to turn her around. "I couldn't leave, I'm sorry I even tried."
Rotten Town || Liam & Kendall
She sighed as Liam stood up, “You don’t understand,” she whined. But it was too late, he stood up and started to walk away. “No..don’t,” she grabbed the money that he left on the table and threw it back at him, “I was going to pay for it all.” She turned her head to look at the wall, she felt something hit her and she looked down at her lap when she saw the pills. “I WILL GET BETTER SHE SCREAMED.” She waited for him to walk away before she opened the pills and took more than a couple.
Okay, Liam felt a tad bit bad for leaving like that, but it was her fault, she wasn't being truthful with the drunk people thing. It made him mad. He stood on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant with his hands in his pockets. He let out a deep sigh and looked back. He had made it clear that this wasn't a break up, there was just some tension. Liam grumbled, playing with the thought of waiting for her outside. Maybe in some bushes, so he could pop out and surprise attack her with apologies. He decided to wait, leaning against the hood of a random car, crossing his arms. He could never go through with leaving plans as he hoped.
Rotten Town || Liam & Kendall
Kendall sighed when Liam was being difficult with her, she started to get teary. “nothing is wrong! Don’t leave. But nothing is wrong. Why don’t you trust me? I’m being serious right now. This is why I need the pills. I should’ve never told you. This is just ridiculous,” she looked down, “Can we just drop it? Just finish your food, and lets just go. I don’t want to be here anymore.” She took money out of her wallet and left it on the table, “I don’t. I don’t want to go in the taxi. I want to walk home, alone.”
Liam gritted his teeth. "Liar." He said, dropping his spoon and standing up. "Have fun walking home alone then." He rolled his eyes and took out his portion of payment and tossed it with hers. He was about to walk away again before remember to clear things up. "By the way, this doesn't mean we're finished, but you know, come back to me when you're done being" He waved a hand at her. "like this." He tilted his head with a smile. "Get better, Bright Eyes." He took out the pill bottle and tossed it at her then began walking towards the exit.

“I feel sick, like I think I’m getting the flu. Maybe I should move in with you when I’m feeling better.” She nodded when he said he enjoyed the blindfold idea, “Exactly why I think we should try that. What if I blind fold you the whole date and then you take it off to see a fat old guy in front of you?” She looked down and then attemped to eat her burger again, “Fine.” She started taking large bites from it so it would go away faster. After a few minutes she finished and then wiped off her hands. “Nothing is wrong, I’m just feeling anxious that’s all. I’m fine. Just trust me, okay?”
Liam went blank. "Uh," He narrowed his eyes, bringing his eyebrows with them. "Why are you-" He shook his head and let it fall back on the booth. "I will ask you, one more time, and if you don't tell me the truth - which I will know - then I'm getting up and leaving.." He leaned forward again, looking her directly in the eyes. "Alright?" He blinked. "What the fuck is wrong?"
Rotten Town || Liam & Kendall
“But it’s going to be in two weeks, I’m sick.” She looked around and then poked at her burger before taking a bite out of it, “I’m glad you’re enjoying the food here because this place is heaven to me. So you better start liking it too because if I ever want to blindfold you and take you out on a date, it could possibly be here. Possibly,” she put down her burger and slid it away from her. “I can’t eat actually…I think I’m going to vomit. Sorry.” Looking down at her dress she tugged at the ends when she noticed a bruise on her thighs. “Uhm, can I get my medicine back?
"Two weeks exactly? Why are you sick? How are you sick?" He sighed and ate more of the stuff he had. "Mmm, blindfolded date? That sounds lovely, we should do that sometime." He perked his eyebrows at her and smiled. "Why are you not hungry?" He said slowly, trying not to look annoyed. "You're the one who suggested this.. What's wrong, Bright Eyes?" He set the burger he was eating back down on the plate and crossed his arms. "Not until you tell me what's really wrong." He licked his lips and gave her an unimpressed look, leaning back in the booth.
Rotten Town || Liam & Kendall
She just nodded when the waiter put down their food, she scotted over a bit when he put his food down in front of her. “Well it sounds like tomorrow would be a fun time. Except can we do it like at night? Or when no one’s around? I hate swimming with crowds of people.” His food looked like puke and she started laughing, “Good luck with that.” She looked down at her burger and cut it in half, she grabbed the plate that was under Liam’s bowl. “I’m gonna give you half because I love you,” she cleaned the plate off and then put the burger back onto the plate and slide it over.
Liam puffed his cheeks out and smiled. "Night time is a must. It's quiet and quite nice." He took up a spoon and stirred the stuff around, blinking at it. He happily accepted her offer at the halfless burger. "Thanks love." He told her, sliding the plate over to the side of his soup and took a wincing slurp at the stuff. "Hum.. Not all that bad, I must admit." Liam said before taking about spoonful to his mouth. "How's yours?" He asked, nodding his head towards her burger.
Rotten Town || Liam & Kendall
“No, I want to. Of course I want to. I mean, I’m happy right? You’re happy too. Right?” She smiled at him, “Fine, but when you teach me we need floaties and noodles. Life vests are probably a good choice too. Anything safe. But we should be spontaneous. What if I woke up tomorrow with two motorcycles?” When the waiters came over with their food, she adjusted her seat and put some hand sanitizer on, “Do you want some?”
Liam approved her lack of enthusiasm with a nod. "Okay, cool. We can make placements tonight or whatever." Surprisingly, he didn't have a roommate, which was favorable. To him, she wasn't just becoming a roommate, but on more of the serious relationship terms was she coming in to play. "Floaties and noodles. That could help us achieve what we're trying to get at, yes." Liam lifted his eyebrows and pinched his lips when the food arrived. "Ah, perfect, gross looking soup stuff, just what I ordered." He said after developing a sarcastic expression onto his face. Liam nodded, holding out his hand for the disinfectant. "Please and thank you."
Rotten Town || Liam & Kendall
Kendall nodded, “of course I’m still up. I’m always up for whatever you want.” She smiled at him and then watched him look around, “I want to go there too! Always did. My teacher was from there and he made me want to visit. Maybe one day we could go there together. The oceans are beautiful but you know my issue, but the buildings…yes. Then the people seem lovely and Greek yogurt. The yogurt is the best.” She closed her eyes thinking about the yogurt. That yogurt Is the best, “Maybe we should go tomorrow!”
"You're not doing it just because I want you too, right? I mean, I want you to be as wanting, you know?" He sniffed and rubbed his chin. "That's why I'd like to teach you." He shook his head at her. "Yeah, how about instead of going to Greece tomorrow, I could teach you how to swim. I mean, we can't just take a random trip to some far off country in one day." He laughed and leaned on the table again. Finding a comfortable position was difficult.
