yeah, i'm adding onto the list. i figure, my heart's not gonna be in it anymore, so it's not really worth it to stick around. i did some things i'm not proud of, and even if i've apologized, the wounds will take time to heal. i've been here since the beginning, and i enjoyed every single minute of the times i spent with liau, qian, angel, and the incorrect quotes blog. i never meant to ignore anyone/exclude anyone, and i made a bad impression of myself and this group by doing so. thank you all for making gangpae such an incredible experience, and if y'all want to follow me, my blog is @minhohelps :) in the end, i'll remember it for what it was, not what it could've been. this blog and such will remain open but i'm changing the urls. bye 👋👋👋

Hi everybody, it's your favorite trash can Kelly. This is just a quick OOC post regarding what Liau's gonna be doing now further regarding the plot drop. It's nothing major major, he's not dying or anything. He's just come to the realization that being out in the open isn't exactly as safe as before, since the Snakes don't trust his gang anymore + his fight w/ Minho fucked him up. So for a few days, he's going to be hiding out in the Lost Boys Headquarters underground. I'm still going to be actively replying to starters and threads with Liau, so please don't think he's disappeared forever. My son just needs some time to think his choices through...and he might not be the same once this is over. Anyways that's it for now, if y'all wanna plot and/or chat I'm always in IMs and the Incorrect Quotes Blog!

His recent and sudden sobriety, the anger that he still held from falling out with Hansol, his general feeling about this situation that they had all just been dropped into or maybe it had just been too long since he’d let himself backhand someone. It didn’t really matter in the end as his hand still connected Liau’s cheek reaching out to grab his chin only a second later. “You don’t trust me? You fucking ungrateful piece of shit. Have I ever put you in danger? Have I ever put the Lost Boys in danger?” His grip tightened as Minho took a step closer, voice steady and ice cold. “I will admit I have lied and deceived and cheated the entire time I’ve lived in this shit city but I did my fucking job. I grew up spitting on people like the insignificant ones I now have to associate myself with. I’m above you in every single way! But I still protected you, I protected all of you and I will continue to do it. You don’t matter Liau. I don’t matter. The Lost Boys do. The gang surviving is what matters. And I don’t care what I have to fucking do to make sure it does but I didn’t kill those Snakes. Because if you haven’t noticed that’s only put us in more danger.”

The grip of Minho's hands ran through his skull, his jaw still aching from the beating he'd recieved earlier. His fists clenched together, staying at his sides like they were pinned there. The back of his head was being rammed into the wall, until he became lightheaded. "I never said I never believed their word of yours-" Liau tried to protest, but gave up trying. Something inside him broke, staring into Minho's dark brown eyes. This wasn't his brother: this was his superior. In the end, none of the jokes or memories or times the two spent together meant anything. Liau was truly just another person to worry about. "I do trust you." He growled, latching onto Minho's hand and grunting as he tried to pull it down. "I just wanted a fucking answer. I didn't need you to tell me what I already knew about myself! I've gone above and beyond defending our name, your name, and this is the thanks I get?! Well maybe next time, you shouldn't protect me! You should just let me die!" Liau gasped after hearing his final sentence, his breath shaking despite not lacking air. He was in way over his head. But he didn't want to force out a hollow apology. He didn't have time to say sorry if he really wasn't. "I'm gonna ask nicely. Please let me go. Let's both just walk away, and pretend this fucking conversation never happened. If you don't, well...you'll hurt me more than you'll hurt yourself."

His entire body whipped around at the sound of his name, not even thinking before he marched towards the younger man to grab his arm and pull him closer to an alleyway. “Fucking hell Liau, would you mind not announcing my presence to the whole city.” He hissed at the other, suppressing the want to hit him upside the head for being so dumb at a time like this. He didn’t care if there were people in the street or not, the Snakes were out for blood and Minho was not offering up his own. “Of course, I didn’t fucking do it. I would already be nice and safe in the underground if I’d done it. Not running around risking getting a bullet in my skull.” He was honestly slightly offended that he was being asked by his own gang member if he had anything to do with the attack. Minho was not a good person and was not against killing as many people as possible but only when provoked. Not randomly like this. “We don’t keep you in the dark about shit. We tell you what you need to know and if Hansol had done this he would have told you. So, rail in the disobedience because I’m really not in the mood for it today.” He was lying of course. There were things he kept from Liau but he didn’t consider Liau high on the list of people who need to know what was going on, maybe that was a fault with Minho but he didn’t care much about it at this moment in time.

He winced as he was pulled aside, rubbing the place where he was grabbed when it was let go. "Well...how else was I supposed to get your attention. I didn't want you to shoot me because you thought I was somebody else." He grumbled a lame excuse, not wanting to simply own up to his wrongdoing. Yes, Minho knew him thick and thin, but Liau didn't want to be thought of as the weak one anymore. Couldn't he care about others besides his own gang members because it was the right thing to do? "Hyung...one of the Snakes beat me up." He whispered, recollecting the fight that happened an hour or two before. This wouldn't be something he would tell Minho, unless he thought it was important. "They-they said..." His fist clenched, as Liau inspected his Lost Boy Tattoo. "They said you did it because you were mad they crashed your wedding." He slumped against the brick wall behind them, covering his face in shame at his own words. Liau knew that wasn't the case, but telling Minho that...made him want to get punched. "I-I wish I could trust you like the old days. I wish I was more to you than just an annoying little kid." He admitted, tugging at the strings on his hoodie and sniffling.

"Things are pretty comfortable with just Qian, Angel, and I. I mean, at least now it's kind of neater? No offense, Minseok. But I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have a new roommate, but they could never replace the moments Minseok and I had together. There were a lot of dumb things you could do when your gang was being accused of carrying out an unprovoked attack on another gang and walking around somewhere that isn’t your own territory is one of them. Minho would say in his defence though that he isn’t in a good mental state and he wasn’t actually aware of the situation until thirty minutes ago. Which to him made it obvious that it wasn’t the Lost Boys who carried out the attack but then again he and Hansol weren’t talking and he knew first-hand how easily his husband could lash out. Either way, he was trying to get back to Lost Boy territory as quickly as possible. It was likely that other gangs would swarm the territory anyway if they were looking for blood but no one outside of the Lost Boys knew how to get into the underground therefore making it the safest place to be. The tricky bit was getting there without anyone noticing or stopping him. From the few texts he had gotten from some of his runner’s it seemed people weren’t all too happy with them and some of them had already been jumped by people hoping to get in on the Lost Boy hunt. And that’s how Minho found himself dodging through streets with his hood pulled as far over his head as it could go and cursing himself for both his blonde hair and not bringing a mask or scarf with him to cover his face.

This was the final straw. Liau had kept quiet about the wedding, the brawl at Hyuk's, even the fallout between his leader and second-in-command, but this. This was the last time he would sit back and put his faith in his elders. Half of the snakes were dead, and the blame was on the Lost Boys. Liau hadn't even realized it, until a Snake confronted him and left with a nasty punch to his jaw. So when he saw his hyung breezing through without a care in the world, he got mad. Really mad. He never asked for anything, except for no murders. That wasn't to say Liau believed Minho did it, because he didn't. But he knew Minho had some kind of an answer. "Minho!" He hadn't intended to be this loud, but that was how it came out. At least nobody else was around to witness this. Liau was hardly recognizable anyway: he'd pulled up the hoodie he'd worn, and the lucky gray facemask stashed in his backpack was now strapped across his face. "Tell me you didn't do it." His accusation was impulsive, on the spot. And through the red-hot rage he felt, it made way to something else. Something he hadn't felt since the fire. Fear. Liau would always be loyal to the Lost Boys, even after this blew over. But now...he was afraid. Afraid of being lied to. "If you're going to keep me in the dark about everything else, at least tell me this. Please."

IT WASN’T like he tried to ignore the other’s joke by intention; he had been so wrapped up inbetween the tattered and worn out pages that he hadn’t registered that it was a joke more than mumbled words to himself. Siwan preferred the company of himself, of silence or a gun to tweak, maybe a book to read. Socializing made him tired. There were so many things he had to do with it; analyze body language, facial expressions (did those go together?), when a person was talking to themselves and when they were addressing him. Not to mention how people tended to beat around the bush and never seemed to be straight forward with their intentions or what they wanted. He saw it as a tiring thing that no matter how much he didn’t want it to be necessary, was in the end. At the question, he stiffens; He takes it back, this is what he hated about his job. Dyslexia didn’t just scramble the way he read words, but it had also spread into the way he read numbers. And it made it quite hard for him to appropriately read off the amount that flashed off in green print against the small black screen on the cash register. “15,000, sir. Do you have a card with us?”

THE SILENCE that filled the store rubbed him the wrong way. Besides the overhead music of a song he couldn't identify, and the rumbling of the fridge vents, he could hear no noise. And that drove him insane. He wasn't going to force the other to talk, clearly, but there was nothing wrong with casual banter. Right? By the way the employee kept his focus on anything but Liau, casual banter was the one thing he didn't want. He was giving off the sign that he was just as uncomfortable. "Hey, I didn't...I didn't mean anything by that. It was an accident. It's cool." Liau reassured, breaking into a friendly grin. "Here." He handed the owed bills to the register, but in the same moment...his Lost Boy star tattoo was visible. Oh, crap. Now there was no chance Liau would get any type of conversation. Civilians freaked the hell out whenever any gang member revealed the truth about themselves, as proven by the stupid incident that happened at Hyuk's nearly a month ago. It infuriated him. "I, uh...no. I don't-I don't have a card. Do I need one for, like, a discount, or something?"
