Lee jooheon was born on valentines day, 1998 to a pair of well off people involved in one of Korea’s most fast-rising companies.
His parents were workaholics and Jooheon was molded and manipulated to be the most angelic child anyone had ever seen.
He strived to be close to his parents and he was willing to do anything and everything to make them happy.
Everything was decent between them up until he was about fourteen years old.
His dad managed to become the vice president of the company; but his boss was pressuring, demanding and an overall jackass.
his boss asked if his kids could stay with the lee family for the summer while he tended to handling his falling apart marriage and because their father was so image-obsessed he agreed with the hopes that he’d get a raise.
The daughter was nineteen and the son was seventeen.
one night when the parents were out, the daughter decided to through a house party, and Jooheon, who had idolized the teen life through american movies was excited and of course wanted to join.
The girl slipped something in his drink, got him wasted and took advantage of him in his bedroom.
When Jooheon had came too, he was confused and scared. Nothing had seemed to change when it came to the girl’s demeanor, so he figured it was just a dream and he pushed it out the way even though he continued to have nightmares about it.
about a year after that night, Jooheon and the son of the company get together; He had always been sweet to him and Jooheon and managed to figure out his sexuality and he was excited to be in his first relationship.
Things were fine at first, they went on dates and things were romantic, but he got very abusive very fast.
His boyfriend began to act like he owned him and jooheon slowly pushed his friends away and tried to isolate himself as soon as possible.
They did have sex, and it slowly began to transition from consensual to not.
Jooheon didn’t know how exactly to act in this situation. He didn’t know if what happened was wrong and he began almost immediately making excuses for him
But as time went on he began to realize that things weren’t okay and he decided he would tell his parents before they came around for another summer.
He told his parents, and while his parents said that they would handle everything with the lawsuit, they shunned him for being gay.
So they gave him his own apartment, and told him they would take care of him until he was 18
it was around that time, that he was coping with the trauma of what happened that he tried to kill himself, but his parents found him and he was put in a psych ward for three months
He was diagnosed with body dysmporhia and depression.
Since then, Jooheon has managed to pull out of his rut. His band mates and friends have been there for him and he doesn’t feel completely alone
He’s currently in college, majoring in music production
He’s very quiet, very reserved and he doesn’t like when people touch him, sometimes if he’s touched/bumped into too much it can send him into panic attacks
boy is an easy crier and will literally ball his eyes out at romance movies and really cute videos
He really enjoys video games but never has the time to play them.
He constantly feels as if he’s a burden and tries to make up for it?
He tries to hide from people? literally will hide in a room because he doesn’t like being alone with people.
Silence makes him uncomfortable, he’ll talk and ramble about whatever just because he feels like he’s being checked out by whoever he has a conversation with and it scares him.
He’s very paranoid and gets caught up in his own thoughts very easily
he dresses in the least revealing clothing?? everything is baggy because he feels like people won’t look at him that way if he isn’t dressed nicely
