   âNothing. Iâve had the chance to do everything I wanted. I took what I really wanted.â
âł + if there was one thing in your life you could change, what would it be?
   âMy fatherâs death impacted my mother the most, so, that. Hands down.â
âł + If you couldn't be a librarian, what other career you would've like to have been in?
  Oh.
   âProbably a police officer. Theyâre pretty noble.â

Day 1: Favorite Male Character - Elliot Nightray
mistakes were made. [ashton/athan]
@ritanuki
  Ah, shopping. The simple, but annoying requirements to live. Everything costed so much, but it was either pay nothing and die or go broke and live. The latter sounded better to him. And thus, here he was, in a Pokemart at the end of the work day, grabbing some groceries for his Pokemon and himself. Almost ready to check out, Ashton spotted quite the cute accessory that his Deerling would probably enjoy. But just as the male was reaching to pick it up, another arm came in front of him and nabbed it.
  Perhaps the young male who took it didnât see him reaching for the item, so Ashton suppressed any sudden outburst. Instead, the man simply reached down to get another. At least, he would have, if there were any more. A small, but angered groan escaped the librarian before turning his attention to the person who was now in line to check out.Â
  Perhaps it was against his better judgement, but rather than letting this one go, Ashton sped up to be behind the other, before attempting to subtly reach into the otherâs basket to grab the accessory. A plan that wasnât that well thought out, and actually rather stupid, but a plan nonetheless. A plan that wound up foiled, though, when the person behind him accidentally bumped against his arm and caused the male to touch the otherâs arm.
  Lovely.
on the spot. [ashton/hale]

  There were very few things to take enjoyment in around these parts. Running a middle-class library with your mother wasnât the most excitement someone could get out of life. Luckily, there wasnât much excitement that Ashton wanted. The simpler things were where serenity was found, and this librarianâs little piece of heaven was reading. Sure, he was around books all day, but he never got that peace and quiet he wanted until he was behind a rundown Pokemart a little out of the way from the bustling city.
  The shop had been abandoned a few years before, so there wasnât much there. A bit of dust had piled up on the windows, some of the grass and vines were a little overgrown in some areas, creeping up the side of the building. But it was out of the way, quiet, and no one knew about it. Or so he thought, as a young man with light blue hair was sitting against the old Pokemart. That was curious, but, if there was one thing Ashtonâs father taught him, it was to protect what was yours. And so, the young blonde approached him.

dinnerâs ready. [ashton/jun]
@officerjun
  A trip to the precinct. Thatâs what his mother wanted him to do. It wasnât out of the question, but it did make more sense to call rather than to walk all the way over there. Arguing wasnât an option with Ashtonâs mother, though. Just as he mentioned calling, he practically had one foot out the door already. Galt was following beside him down the road, and he questioned his motherâs motives. While she still had a friendship with the chief and his wife, she asked him to ask another person. A boy named Jun.
  While Ashton had nothing against the male, they didnât know each other quite that well enough to be having him over for dinner. Maybe it was an attempt to get him to make friends with another person. Either way, perhaps itâd be nice to see that guy again. He did have a way about somehow brightening the day for Ashton, even if it was just a tiny bit.
  The young man opened the door for his Zangoose before he followed in behind, ignoring the people who were handcuffed in chairs beside desks of police officers writing up a report on them. There were only a few desks between him and his destination, and it didnât take long to get there. Ashton sat down in the chair next to the desk, staying moderately quiet to avoid interrupting the other young manâs work. Galt stood in front of the desk, only his eyes and ears poking up from the edge.
  âHey, I was wondering if youâd like to come by my place tonight to have dinner with my mother and I, and possibly the chief.â Right to the point.
no playing here. [ashton/zia]
@gardienne-du-savoir
  A library was supposed to be quiet. Thatâs what his mother had taught him. Thatâs what was taught in every library. But for some reason, a group of teenagers took it upon themselves to make a playground out of the place. At first, it was quiet. The teens just snickered every so often, but they were still quiet overall. The younger people seemed to do that anyway. It was nothing. It was a problem, however, when they began laughing aloud, and talking in regular voices.
  Ashton was checking a few books out for a woman that seemed to be only a few years older than him. A normal happening, he kept his usual calm demeanor. It wasnât until one of them almost knocked over a small shelf that the male got extremely annoyed. âExcuse me,â He spoke, reaching over to grab one of the more thick books, before tossing it rather forcefully at the closest oneâs head, making it hit with a nice, satisfying thud.
   âIF YOU WANT TO PLAY GAMES, GO OUTSIDE. THATâS WHAT ITâS FOR. THIS IS A LIBRARY, HAVE SOME RESPECT FOR THE PEOPLE AROUND.â And that was why not a lot of people made noise on Ashtonâs shift. â... I apologize for that, maâam.â
      âOh really? Itâs quite nice to see her being so traditional. Iâd think she wouldâve called or something.âÂ
      She should do that more often if youâre coming by.Â
   âThe chief isâ Well, you should know where his office is by now.âÂ
     It wouldnât be all too bad to show you around but, you were practically raised here.
  âSorry for keeping up your time! Iâm going to you know.. look at these reports.â
     Itâs a shame the papers Iâm hiding have small drawings of us doing the couple things
   âOh, I already spoke with him.â
  I may or may not have volunteered.
   âI was heading out, but thought Iâd stop by and say hello and check up.â
  Could I see those or are those like a private thing
   âOh! I didnât realize you were here.â
   Holy shit how did he get into the precinct.
   âMy mother sent me to see if the chief wanted to come by for dinner.â
  And I wanted to say hello to you.
   âThese reports suggest a sign of a cutie in the city.â
   âDonât say things like that--â
Starter call!
For now, I donât think Iâll put a limit on how many Iâll do, but like this post or toss me an IM and weâll plot something out! Iâll be averaging the length at about two paragraphs(possibly less), so keep that in mind, please!
