there is pure adoration in her gaze as she looks at cordelia, the woman who never gave up on her. a large part of the reason she’s here now and not in an endless cycle of destroying innocent life. ❛ it still feels so strange… bein’ back here, with you. ❜ she feels like a foal, still trying to stand on wobbly, spindly legs that barely support her. ❛ part of me wonders if i’ll ever feel normal again. ❜ it isn’t a complaint, she couldn’t be happier to be among the living again, but it is a concern. maybe one she shouldn’t dwell on too much though, not right now.

Thin, willowy fingers reach out to tuck stray curls behind an ear, softly tracing their way down Misty’s jaw, brushing her cheek. There’s a reverence to the way she looks at her, the way she touches her, a gentle wonder for love lost and regained. “We’ll get through this,” she murmurs, taking the other’s hands in her own, lifting them to press light kisses to the knuckles. “I’m so thankful to have you back... I thought I’d lost you forever. I’ve missed you everyday, more than anyone can say.”
