I miss you more than anybody should... (Sisky&Jack)
Jack looked over at the boy sat on the edge of the wall in the garden, biting his lip as he played with the lighter in his hand. He couldn’t believe how different Sisky looked, it had only been a few months since the two had broken up, but over a year since they had married. As Jack watched him pick at the skin of his arms, gaze trained to the ground, he realized just how much he’d broken the older man.
“So don't ask me how
I keep myself together
Cause I'm hardly together
And I gladly surrender...”
“Adam, Can we talk?” Jack asked as he headed across the grass, Stitch bounding over to him happily and bouncing up at his ankles. He leaned down to lift the puppy, continuing on his track towards the other. “Please?”
Adam sighed softly, too exhausted to argue as he dropped his hands into his lap. Jack took his silence as a cue to continue.“I’m sorry, I love you. I always have. I was upset, that’s why I did it. I slept with her because you hurt me. I’m not, I’m not saying this was your fault. I’m saying I was irrational. I was a dick.
“Okay.” The older boy said firmly, no emotion in his voice. Jack shook his head, he wasn’t done. “Sisk, babyboy, I miss you. I know I’ve been a horrible person, but I really do love you.” He crouched down in front of the older boy, resting a hand on his knee. “I’ll do anything to make it up to you.”
“And then what? You do it again? The next time someone pays you enough attention. I thought you said you loved Ashley.”
“I’m not saying take me back. I’m saying take my peace offering.” Jack took Adam’s hand, placing the lighter in his palm with a small frown. “Please?”
Sisky’s chest grew tighter as he listened to Jack’s words. He wanted them so much to not believe a word he said. But the boy was exhausted, and Jack’s touch was warm. He fell for it. He broke. The tears welled in his eyes, spilling over his cheeks as he crumpled, letting Jack pull him into a tight embrace. Daringly, his lips found Sisky’s.. Adam couldn’t resist, craving the feeling of comfort. The tears continued to roll down his cheeks as Jack pulled him close.
“So take me to your bed
and we can mess around
Like we never meant
Anything we said
I need you to feel again..”
His shirt was off in seconds as Jack pushed him into the bedroom, the both of them hot, panting messes as they pressed lips together, nails scratching and clawing at skin to get as close as possible. Sisky abandoned all rational thoughts that he’d held since the return of Jack, closing his eyes and whining in desperation for his next touch. The taller of the boys pushed the other down to the bed, pressing his lips firmly to those of his ex husband, making Adam forget everything for a while as he became lost in the sheets of the bed.
Adam lay across the bed, eyes trained to follow the smoke that drifted towards the ceiling as he released it from his lungs. He was silent, the tears and sweat making his skin feel sticky, he felt disgusting. It only took a matter of moments until Jack took the cigarette from between Sisky’s fingers. “Go, shower. You’re gross, babe.” He hummed, pressing a light kiss to his lips before settling back to watch Adam peel himself up from the bed and stumble towards the bathroom.
Once inside, he locked the door and collapsed down to his knees, filling the toilet with the contents of his stomach.
