Did you know that when you google “how to tell if you’re in love” one of the consistent criteria is “you can’t imagine your life without them”? But I don’t really think that’s love, that’s just a lack of imagination. The truth is, I can imagine life without you. I can imagine the empty evenings and lonely weekends. And I know I never want to live like that again.

Big difference in saying you don’t want to live without someone and that you can’t live without them. You can. You’ll survive. Find the happy medium; I did.
