Culinary Arts School Fundraiser

Today after a lot of thought I’ve decided to ask for help with my schooling. As some of you may know I’m a running start student (a high schooler who’s in college early) so all of my tuition is paid for. However, I have to pay for fees, book,s supplies, clothing, etc. out of pocket. This is my second quarter in my program of choice (Culinary Arts) and I’m doing alright because we’re in the management courses. Once I get to this next fall quarter though it’s going to be a struggle with my family’s financial situation to get everything I’m going to need without assistance and due to the fact that I am still in high school and have yet to graduate with my diploma, I am severely limited with financial aid, scholarships and grants. I’m asking for help to raise $1500 to help go towards this and have set up a fundraising account

The catastrophe that is my life Part 2: My mom made me go in with her and help carry a bunch of pizzas she ordered for a party and when we went in the guy looked at the address number and screamed “yoO DUDE ITS THE PENIS GIRL” confusion radiating off my mom, the entire store staring at me, workers running to the table, and the only thing going through my mind was “why couldn’t I have been born as a toothbrush”

1. Fist: Make a fist around the epi-pen, don’t place your thumb/fingers over either end

2. Flick the blue cap off

3. Fire. Press down into the outer thigh (the big muscle in there), hold for 10 seconds before removing (the orange cap will cover the needle). Bare skin is best but the epi-pen will go through clothing. Avoid pockets and seams. 

- Ring an ambulance even if everything seems to be fine!

Oh my god. So as someone who has to carry an epipen EVERYWHERE I am so happy to see that there’s an info post about them. Like in the extreme case that I can’t inject myself, somebody else would have to do it, but nobody knows how to do it! Thank you, this may just save my life some day.

here for all my girls w/ facial hair

we need to spread more good vibes for girls with facial hair bc we exist and i grew up hating my entire self bc i had a “girlstache” and sideburns that apparently weren’t for girls and my biggest fear was having someone call me out on them and when people did i would go home and bury myself in bed and one time i tried to use my mum’s hot wax to get rid of my moustache in the middle of the night and i did it wrong and burnt myself and i had a massive scab on my upper lip and everyone at school knew what i had tried to do and they picked on me even more.

all i’m saying is i am so 100000% here for girls with facial hair. whether that’s a slight moustache, chin hair, side burns, all of the above. you’re not abnormal. you’re not “gross”. it’s completely ok and natural and some girls are just extra fluffy and there is NOTHING wrong with that. i just wish it hadn’t taken me 18 years to realise this.
