Were you always a hijabi? I’m trying to be committed to my hijab (I sometimes take it off) any advice? Thank you 💜
I’ve been wearing it now for the past 7 years. I won’t stay that i didn’t have my ups and downs and there were a lot of moments where i wanted to take it off. But i think the part that really helped me stick to my commitment is that it’s suppose to be hard. Taking it off would set me back a couple of steps from my Deen, and that kinda scares me. Anyway, just thinking back to when i first started wearing it and how that made me feel always really helps me to keep it on.

I strongly dislike this idea that progression in countries is measured by their imitation of western society.
