Three LGBT youth at a safe house in Kampala run by a grassroots LGBT group. At present, there are eight people sleeping in the cramped two room apartment, though the number fluctuates daily ranging from six to 12. Many were chased away by their families because of their LGBT identity, though others stay at the house for the company of others in the kuchu community. #pulitzercenter #uganda #LGBT #DualShadows
