Some magic in the storm.
I didn't get roses with mine.

I haven't had anything new to post for a while, so I've gone back in time to my one of my past cars. I don't remember the year or model #, but it was before 2008 and a 3-series with a V8. Great car!
Spotted in Oxford, AL
This is a friend's 1997 Z3. The odometer reads 178K! The old girl looks great. The BMW roadsters are the real "sports cars"of the BMW lineup. I love the look.
We recently got all the friends we could with convertibles together for a day trip picnic to the highest point on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We had eight cars of which four were BMWs. It was a beautiful day and a lot of fun. I think this will be the start of the HFCC (Highland Falls Convertible Club).
MY BMW and HRSTUFF
I really, really, seriously need one of these trailers! 'He no idea how to get one, but will figure that out
BMW i8 spotted in Highlands, NC. It's a strikingly beautiful sports car.
Headed up the mountain to cool weather after a terrible drive through Atlanta. We just pulled off the road to admire the view and "stretch our legs". It's a wonderful drive once you start up the mountain and there are many roads in the area that will challenge both car and driver while providing beautiful scenery in convertible temperatures. Give it a try. You may be like us and never go home again.
My 650i. Sounds weird in the short video, but doesn’t sound that way in person. Promise.
This is a 2015 BMW 435i convertible with the M-Sport package. I had it about 6 months and "totaled" it. No animals or persons were injured. Loved the car! But I replaced it with a 650i convertible. Picture was taken in Highlands NC at our home.
My old 650i convertible again. I still think it is the best looking car I've ever owned. This picture was taken at the Gasparilla Inn, Boca Grande, FL.
My 2008 BMW 650i convertible. This picture was taken at a friends house in Point Clear, AL. I traded this car a couple of years ago.
I started this blog recently, so you're going to have to see some of my old pictures.
This was my first convertible. It wasn’t our first BMW, or even close to our first. But it ignited my love of convertibles and I haven’t been without one since. We bought this car to leave at a vacation home so we would have two cars while there. It was old and had more than a few miles on it. We both loved it and soon replaced it with a new white BMW 330i convertible.
This picture was taken at Steelwood Country Club in South Alabama.
OK, so this is my ride. It’s a 650i convertible. I’ve been driving a BMW convertible of some sort for many years. It started with a used high-mileage 318i convertible we purchased to leave at a second home. I loved that car and have been an avid convertible driver ever since. In fact, I’m in Seneca SC about to head up the mountains to Highlands NC. It’s a short drive…30 miles or so, but I can’t wait to put the top down in this cool mountain weather. This picture was taken at Bonita Lakes, a city park in Meridian, MS.
The wife’s 2015 328d. She LOVES this car. She loves the Diesel engine (though it took me awhile to convince her of its attributes) and loves the 43+ mpg. She also loves the M-Sport package. It’s amazing how sporty the drive is in this car. Guess that’s why the call it. “Sports Wagon”. This picture was taken at home in Highlands, NC.
