The 1975 Live in Manila 2019

Went to the venue early for this view. Totally worth it, though I still get flashbacks of how I try not to die in the middle of the crowd. It was PACKED and scary, but it was 100% fun. I went with my favorite people of course. I honestly don’t know most of the faces in the group picture, but they were really nice.

Mom, I made it. I finally saw the 4 Australian folks that changed my life bigtime.

During my teenage years, 5 Seconds of Summer has been a HUGE influence as I try to get to know myself. It has been my teenage dream to watch them live, or atleast see them in person. They went to Manila twice before this happened. Don't get me wrong, I tried everything to even catch a glimpse of them, knowing I won't be able to watch them perform because concert tickets were too expensive for me to afford.

The promo for this event ended before I even got the chance to register. I was once again brokenhearted. I really thought I would never get a chance to meet them, BUT LA Aguinaldo, a heaven-sent god-attractive man who I am very very very thankful to, announced his ticket giveaway—and guess what! Ya girl is one of them!

I'm very thankful that I got to see them perform, and that my efforts to greet them were not wasted.

Here's to teenage memories!

I went to my first Bookworms Unite PH event, and it went really great.

They recently held a book launch/signing for Randy Ribay's new book, The Patron Saints of Nothing.

I also brought home an ARC of Kat Cho's Gumiho! 💜

BEST. DAY. EVER.

No words can ever express how happy Karlo made me. 

My day started bad. We were stuck in traffic, and our grab driver made us walk, (yes, wearing that outfit! ugh!) but all the bad energy came off when I met Niki. She’s such a babe! I also got to meet the girl of my dreams. I won’t name her, for she doesn’t know about it, but she likes the same stuff I do!

To cap things off, my celebrity crush (the one I’m very obsessed at) was present as he interviewed Halsey for a music station. We had a polaroid together! He was the highlight of my night, if I’m being honest.

Halsey was of course, the best. The night was surreal. Nothing can top this day off. Best. Day. Ever.

Since my last YTFF, vlogging has grown very popular in the Philippines. A lot of local vloggers were discovered, and many fan groups were formed. This year was extra special because it highlights the talent of local youtubers that showcases why we should support them.

It was a school night, but we decided to attend iAcademy’s free concert at Ayala Triangle. Aside from Reese, I also got to the meet amazing folks of Oh! Flamingo. It was a good night!
