Day 1 (December 18, 2016)- Today started off as a good day since he was coming around 2:45PM. On the way down to get him, his flight got delayed and then cancelled, which got me very worried. They put him on a flight that wasn’t going to get her until the following day, but I was able to find him a flight into a airport closer to my house later that night. He ended up getting in around 9:20 PM.
Day 2- Monday, we laid around in bed and decided to go out for lunch at Panda Express. It was his first time using chopsticks! We set up our PS4 so he could play some games during the day. Then later for supper we had tacos, which he has never had.
Day 3- Tuesday, during the day we got the four-wheeler out and drove around the yard, until it got to cold. I then had to go to class that night, for an hour. Once we got home we had spaghetti.
Day 4- Wednesday, We just hung out around the house, until we needed to send a package to his Aunt. We then went to Walmart to get some toys for his cousin, to put in the package.
Day 5- Thursday, we went up to school to play some basketball. And then we went to Dairy Queen to get some Ice Cream!
Day 6- Friday, It snowwwed! He and my brother got the four wheelers out again to drive around in the snow. We then went out with my family to go see Christmas Lights around the town.
Day 7- Saturday (Christmas Eve)- Today we had Christmas at my Grandmothers house. We even got to play some ping pong with my little cousins. Later that night we came back to have Christmas at our house and had Fondue for supper (which he did not like).
Day 8- Sunday (Christmas)- We had Christmas at my Grandparents house this afternoon. We played lots of games and he won so many prizes. He also played video games with my Uncle.
Day 9- Monday, We went shopping with my mom, because the shoes she got him didn’t fit. He ended up finding a soccer ball and new shoes. We then had to go to the last Christmas event at my Grandfathers house.
Day 10- Tuesday, This was our last full day together. In the morning we went with my friend into town, so she could go shopping. Then we drove down to where the airport is and stayed at a hotel for the night. We go pizza brought to our room, which he thought was cool. Hahaha
Day 11- December 28, 2016- Today he had to leave. His flight was at 7am, which means we had to be there early. It was a sad day and week after that.
We are planning our next trip for summer 2017!
