My first blog post
So here it goes…
Hey world, this is my very first blog post, it may be a bit messy and illiterate, but i will get better at writing at some point..haha..
I guess i will start by explaining why i started this blog. I know its cliché, but I want this to be something that i can look back on in the future and see how much life has changed, what events happened during my 20’s and what i hope for the future; sort of like an online diary, but with the possibility of people i do not know reading it. Its not so bad, since its online and not face to face, i do not have the awkwardness of looking at your faces while you read and cringe at the bad writing and the random posts i will be writing.
As this is my first post, I should talk about who i am, what i do and what i want to achieve. So..
Who am i?
A very deep question that could potentially lead someone (myself) into having an existential crisis, but alas not today bish… But seriously, i won’t disclose my name, (yet), but know that i am a 21 year old girl who was born and raised in Birmingham, UK and am still living and working there. I am still living with family at the moment, and hopefully within the next few years or so i will have enough money to move out (Its not that i dislike my family, i am just ready to be independent now, and need a space to call my own). Also, i am in a loving committed relationship with my Boyfriend, we have been dating for nearly 18 months now, and it couldn’t be better. He is my best friend and my life, and i can’t wait to create memories with him for years to come (and obvs mention it on here if i am still dedicated to doing a blog lol).
What do i do? What do i want to achieve?
I currently work at a place called Equiniti as a call centre agent. Its absolutely f*cking sh*t and i cannot wait to leave – but get this – I will be leaving in August 2020 as in September I will begin studying at University of Birmingham! I am so excited for it. I guess the excitement is enough, that it can drag me through working at my job for the next 6 or so months (or so i hope).
Speaking of work, tomorrow is my first day back from having quite a fews days off due to Christmas and then my birthday, i am absolutely dreading it – just prepare to here me moan non stop about my job, i guess moaning about it here will prevent me from annoying my family, friends and (especially) my boyfriend about it.
So thats me and my intention for the blog. I guess i will use this for writing about life and other shit, and maybe posting the occasional day out, whether it be a shopping day, or a holiday, we shall see!
For now i better leave this and submit, otherwise i will overthink this entirely and re write it (again).
