These are just some outline type ideas for songs if we were to go with that idea of lighter to heavier music/themes as the album or whatever progresses. (i put this here because i think it would be easier to look back to.)

1. Introduction:

“Have Fun”

Fun song; first impression

Go Nutz on that sound

Not too sure about lyrics

2. SillySong 2

Another silly song without any dark tones

Could be mostly instrumental

I have no idea

3. Silly Song 3

“I Want To Believe”

song about aliens

Sci Fi sounding/experimental

Gets a little real at the end, but subtly (message changes to fear of being alone in the universe)

4. Middle song:

That one song where I wrote “I’m a black-toothed baby, never learned how to smile”

Arrogance/apathy at the beginning

Self-loathing/whining at the end

Combined with “Name Game” perhaps?

Gorillaz-y style

5. More serious song:

“I haven’t showered in four days”

Your Canvas, ma boi

6. More serious song 2:

“Nobody can win”

Glitchier sound

7. Destructive song, most intense:

“Bring down the moon”

SOME REAL “NO LOVE” DRONING HEAVY SHIT HERE

8. Conclusion:

“I am embarrassing”

I was thinking a sadder, Radical-Face-like sound

Possibly acoustic

As I was writing it I thought to myself, "the whole message would get through assuming people will listen to the whole thing, otherwise the first songs will be the only impression people will get" so perhaps organization can change.

Also, I think we have many more ideas/material we can work with so we can make it longer too, I just didn't want to get too ambitious and I didn't want to put every idea we ever had into one thing. However, most of those ideas probably fit on the heavy/dark side of the album. We could have an imbalance in tone with more darker stuff than lighter stuff, but I just made it like this because I think the symmetry might be a good idea and it might make it less repetitive. (Also i think we will soon have to discuss band/album names)

But yea this is all tentative. Let me know what you think bro..........

P.S. I downloaded a 30-day trial of Music Maker which is $60. The program is not too bad, but it's still a trial so it's very limited. We can still keep looking but I don't think it'll get cheaper than this.
