“This is what the Lord God says: On the day I cleanse you from all your sins, I will resettle your towns, and the ruins will be rebuilt. The desolate land will be cultivated instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass through it. They will say, “This land that was laid waste has become...
Relying on God has to begin all over again every day as if nothing had yet been done.

So, Anita and I are at the airport getting ready to walk over to our gate to wait for our flight. As we are in line to check in, a girl speaks to us. Later as we're walking to the gate, we see her again and we talk a bit. We learn that she attends the University of Cincinnati and is coming to the Orlando area for her break. At that point, God is telling us she is about to get wrecked. So we already know the answer but just for giggles we ask her what row she's in. And of course she is sitting in our row so we all wind up sitting together. So we get to talking and next thing we know she is opening up and pouring out her life to us and what she's going through. She discusses her family situation and what she's struggling with and is just so open with us. We talk the ENTIRE flight. We talk about missions and who we are and who God is, life, and she is near tears. She allows us to pray for her and her situation right there while the plane is landing. God used us to speak to this young lady, and at the same time encouraged us! We are amazed and just baffled by God's love. That even though we have left the city of Cincinnati He is still using us and moving! Jesus is amazing and faithful and moving, no matter where you're at!
Sometimes, things may seem like a good idea, and not a God idea.
Jesus-made friendships. Loved serving and doing life with these beautiful ladies. Complete joy.
Absolutely love these people. Such a faith-filled and amazing group! Definitely changed after this week. #10dayscinci
More Jesus. More Tongues. More Faith.

IDENTITY is such an important part of being a Christian. Most of your identity comes from our name...or rather what people call us. Its no coincidence that in the bible we see God change a person's name way before their condition ever changed. Abram was called ABRAHAM long before he even had a son. So I asked you what is your name?? You are surely wearing a name tag and you will know it by what people call you.
Ashlyn and I were returning to the hotel one night during the mission trip and we walked past a group of guys trying to get our attention.. clearly for the wrong reasons. Obviously they didn't know our names so they reached for our closest identifiers.
"Ay TEN DAYS, TEN DAYS"
(We were wearing the TEN DAYS backpack pictured above) Yes they actually called us ten days! Their lascivious callings hit a wall. And that wall was our IDENTITY. We couldn't possibly turn around to their callings of "TEN DAYS" . Every time they hollered, we were reminded of the mission we were there for, the blood that was poured out for our bodies and the calling on us way higher than some guys lusting over us.
This was a great revelation for me...because the Devil has no choice but to call us how he sees us. So I challenge you to make sure he sees a holy, pure, anointed and righteous person when he looks at you. Out of our own hearts the mouth speaks, and dresses and acts and everything else...and the streets are watching!

Angela Reuter! My oh my! I guess when your testimony is: You were given less than two months to live with ovarian cancer, BUT God healed you...you can't help but be wild about Christ.
A woman who prays over license plates and duke university sweatshirts must severely piss the devil off. I am so honored to serve under her on the TEN DAYS MISSION TRIP.
On our first night in Cincinnati, we were talking to a group of girls about God and the topic of healing came up. All of a sudden Angela came out of nowhere and asked me if I needed healing for anything...I started with "uhm, well the doctor diagnosed me with..." She immediately said STOP TALKING, PLACES HER HAND ON MY HEAD AND JUST PROCEEDS TO PRAY HEALING OVER MY LIFE!!
I am left weeping in awe of her faith and more importantly her complete disregard of "what was wrong with me". She didn't care what the doctor said, she instead poured into me what Jesus said.
She has completely challenged my walk as a Christian. Fear and sin, is far too glorified often. Jesus is the king, Jesus is Lord.. He deserves the glory.
So my new answer to what my diagnosis is = Jesus has already dissolved the cyst in my brain and my next MRI results are going to prove it! His love engulfs me.
- Anita
I pray for everyone dealing with sickness. I capture ever thought of fear, anxiety and panic and place them under the feet of Jesus. I speak healing over cancer, tumors, mental illness, diabetes, etc. I praise Jesus because He is SEATED on the throne and not in Panic over your diagnosis. I praise Jesus because you do not have to update him on what the doctor said. "Where can you go from His presence, even in the depth of the ocean He is there. Even darkness is as light to Him. Give God the glory in every season! Your diagnosis is an after after after thought! Jesus wins!
Reading through Mark 8, versus 1-13 is a really good picture of the compassion Jesus has for his people. He sees the need of the people (hunger), has compassion on them, and works a miracle that leads to their fulfillment and satisfaction. Their need is miraculously met by Jesus because of his love and compassion for them in their hunger. This same compassion Jesus had when he not only saw the need of these four thousand people, but also when he suffered and died for my life, I desire. I desire to see people who are broken, lost, orphaned and have the compassion of Jesus Christ on them that will bring miracles of restoration, revival, healing, and life. I’m thankful that here in Cincinnati, God has been opening my eyes more to the needs of the people. Through this compassion, the very power that raised Christ from the dead is bringing about miracles in the hearts and lives of these people. Jesus is currently feeding the thousands here in Cincinnati! -Ashlyn

Miracles in Cinci :) #1 and counting....
It’s truly amazing how God not only wants to rock Cincinnati, but also each of us serving Him. He continues to remind me to not believe the lies of inadequacy, but that the weight is not on me. He reminds me that he has called, and thus qualified me. He is pushing me beyond myself even before we hit the campus. I was reading through Mark 7, regarding the faith of the woman whose daughter was possessed by an impure spirit. Jesus did not want people to see him, but his presence COULD NOT be kept a secret! The presence of God within each of us will NOT be kept secret! Just like this woman was instantly drawn to Jesus in desperation, so will the individuals on the campus and community we will be venturing out into be. People are desperate for Jesus, some not even realizing it. This desperation for Jesus is evident without me. How wonderful to know that God wants me to be a part of something huge that he is doing in a people and in a city! Just like this woman was desperate for Jesus, let my life be of the same desperation for him - continuously - as he leads me into places of brokenness that he is in the midst of restoring. -Ashlyn
