Your opinion please: would Sephora pursue me when they probably have a good hunch I stole from their store (both the SA and manager SA'ed me) and I had paid for some stuff with a debit card (because I was frickin sloppy)? I was so freaked out that I didn't even think to drop the stuff. The Sephora I lifted from was in a low crime rate area, so maybe there aren't as many working cameras and they don't have my footage? Idk, its been 2 months since and the amount I stole was probably above 100. Thx

Noo, if it’s been 2 months you are fine. It is pretty labor intensive to them track you thru your debit for $100 in merch (they would need concrete evidence of the lift, then they need to find your name thru your card, then try to find your address,,, all for $100… It’s just not really worth it bc the labor involved) and they may not even have evidence in the first place. Maybe if they had concrete evidence of you lifting like $500+ they might pursue,,, but if its been 2 months youre safe dear. This was like my fitbit incident where i concealed on cam and immediately gtfo and the lady was calling after me and I thought she got my plates but that was a month ago and nothing has happened, I didn’t even get a civil demand lol. So quit worrying ✨

My Walmart caught story

Soooo a couple weeks ago i got caught at Walmart which made me paranoid so i took a break from liftblr (yalls amazing hauls make me wanna lift 😏 but i was like i gotta take a break) SO here’s what happened:

I wanted to lift some more work shirts for my bf so i grabbed a few shirts and put 2 decoys on top. When i got to the dressing room the lady was very rude??? Like i had a folded mess on my arm and she was like I NEED TO SEE UR CLOTHES!! She was counting my clothes and she was fucking looking inside the pockets of the decoy pants and was shaking the shirts out like she thought i hid shit in there??!?!? I’ve never seen an SA do extra shit like this lol but i was just like whatever try me you stupid bitch. FIRST MISTAKE!!! I decided to conceal a couple shirts. I walked out fast and she was like MA'AM!!!! MA'AM i need to count your clothes!!! And i was like um no???? I’m in a hurry and i need to leave??? And she was like MAAAM!!!! I was like girl bye and i fast walked like hell to the door. Got out into the parking lot and I WAS ALMOST FREE when loss prevention ran up to me and grabbed my fucking arm!!!!!! I proceeded to CRY LOUDLY !!! And he was staring at my boobs and he was like “ ……. Just give me the stuff back and I’ll let you go” i was like omg my tits just saved my life… I gave it back and i was like thank u…. I got to my car and i was disassociating so hard i was like omg wtf i really got awAY WTF!!! I still felt like an IDIOT though and i was like i need to stop lifting for a little bit like that was too close… This feeling is not worth it..!!

I GOT EXTREMELY LUCKY!!!! Normally walmart presses charges every time but. I live to lift another day (God bless that lp)

IN CONCLUSION: - If an SA is clearly onto you when youre tryna lift clothes, like counting your clothes all obnoxiously like that SA did, DONT LIFT

- If they want to count your clothes when you come out, THE JIG IS UP!!!! Say no, BUT DITCH YOUR SHIT !! If you say no and Bee-line to the door lp will stop you. Ditch your shit so if they catch you and look in your purse they cant do anything bc there’s nothing in there. THIS IS WHAT I SHOULD HAVE DONE!!!!

Aw it’s okay! I used to be anti lifter as well until i started reading up on communism tbh lol. I started understanding how shoplifting actually doesn’t hurt workers and all the benefits that came with lifting so i made this blog. It is extremely disappointing and unfair how society charges women like this. I encourage you to lift new panties and bras if you can, bc you deserve new ones. If i knew you, I would so lift some for you.

liftblr is tiring to me

i love liftblr, it’s a great community but it makes sense to me why bloggers on here have such a short shelf life

the very nature of this community is dangerous of course which leads to people creating blogs and deleting them fairly quickly, though as someone who has been on here for over a year there’s one thing i’ve noticed. eventually everything gets so repetitive. you already have all the tips and knowledge you need, you’ve seen the same hauls of makeup and clothes, you felt as if you’ve contributed enough, the flood of messages in your inbox asking for tips gets tiring. at its core you realize that the messages are so impersonal, typed up quickly to glean info from someone and usually sent without prior research. it does bother me that i put very clearly in my bio to read my faq before asking me questions as there is often the answer in the links provided that someone has failed to look over.

it makes me feel like i’m simply an answer robot - send me a message and I’ll write you a guide no questions asked. sometimes i ask myself, why should i even answer them? of course i don’t want people getting caught. this sentiment is often posted on here- “answer your questions, even the newbie ones!!! would you rather have someone get caught??” sorry, but that’s not up to me. not to get on a high horse or anything but i never asked questions. i did my own research, looked through tags, scoured the internet… i don’t buy the “i’m trying not to get caught!!!” thing anymore. if you really weren’t you’d do your own research. i’m not your researcher or your teacher. I’ll provide help when i can but don’t expect anything from me, esp if you’re a nonlifting blog - we’re out here putting ourselves in danger with our blogs, don’t think you can just access our info and take our advice without making the same sacrifices we are. it’s simply inconsiderate.

maybe i’ve just matured a little. with all the followers i’ve accrued i guess i’d rather use my platform to talk about something more meaningful, e.g. feminism. sure it’s fun letting loose a little, talking about something lighter, but like i said before, there’s only so much you can do on here.

that’s why i don’t post as much lifting related content anymore. I still will in the future but i hope you guys can understand where i’m coming from. idk maybe i’m just in a mods and rambling

Do you know anything about returning stolen stuff? Like say if I steal something worth $60 at cvs and try to return it for a gift card won't it show it as like just ringing something up? What if I stole it from cvs and returned it to like Walgreens or something would that work when they scan it? If you publish this and and lifting blogs see if and know could y'all help a brotha out?

I made a post a while back abt how i lifted diet pills from walmart and returned it target for all the money back in store credit lol suckas. But yeah you can do it but I don’t recommend too often bc target takes ur id if you return shit w/o a receipt and other places might do that also. And i wouldnt lift from a store and take it back to the same store bc when they scan it i think they can see if it was paid for (idk tho never worked in customer service, this might just be me being paranoid) so if i were you I’d lift from cvs then return to walgreens.

My golf detacher came in so i can FINALLY lift from UO. I promised yall a UO haul 😏 but ugh i would have got soo much more but they didn’t have my size in like anything ughghg. I’m def going back in a few weeks to fuck them again bc it is my goal to lift as much as possible from that hell hole company lol. Also i could have gotten like 8 naked palettes from the ulta i went to, there was a very blatant blindspot but ohhh welll ✨ btw. It is my fucking goal to lift every lush product 😩🙏 one day 💫

Idk if anyone else does this to get rid of extra hangers but every single time i lift clothes i always bring a pair of decoy pants to hide security tags in the pockets AND hang extra hangers on the inside of the pants on the crotch. Be sure to NOT give this back to the SAs lol. Just keep it, walk around with it, and then put it back where you first picked it up like you changed ur mind. dont set it on top tho put it under the other pants or put it in a really messy area.
