Bands contribute to Pulse relief efforts
In the wake of the tragedy in Orlando last week, bands in the DIY community have (understandably so) been extremely vocal about a multitude of topics surrounding this. Why this was allowed to happen, how the media is dealing with it and arguably contributing to the problem, and what they can do to get fans involved to help those in need. Some bands have come forward with impromptu EP’s, with proceeds being donated to the Pulse Tragedy Community Fund on GoFundMe. The campaign has currently surpassed the halfway mark of its $500,000 goal (you can view their mission directly here).
This post will be constantly (hopefully) updating, with additions of any bands we find also raising awareness and contributing to the cause. With almost constant turmoil and disloyalty to the ethics that once brought everyone together into this scene, it’s awfully renewing to see such acts of selflessness from our own community. We encourage you all to get involved, to stand up and protect what we know to be right and true. If you would like to view a complete list with links to these releases, please click Keep Reading.

any money we make from digital downloads for the next month will be donated to the Pulse Fund because we need to stand up to intolerance and hate. I didn't know how I could help at all in this situation but i checked our bandcamp and we're still getting downloads so I wanted all of that to go to a more important cause. please check out all of the other bands doing this and find a way that you can contribute as well
