Jay blogs are a dying breed

Here’s a chart I made looking at the RLMsideblogs active in the past month (September) which were a whopping 30

I was curious how much has changed in the three years since this post and what the current demographics are, so I thought I’d investigate.

I’m going to look at all active* RLM blogs** and determine whether or not they are a Jay or Mike blog (or Rich, neutral, etc.), then tally them up and see what we get. My only criteria for whether or not it’s a Jayblog or a Mikeblog will be the profile picture and/or blog URL * active means within the last year ** RLM blogs means the blog’s posts are all, or almost all, RLM-related

First, let’s look at the blogs that are neither Jay nor Mike blogs.

We have 5 Rich blogs and 4 “neutral” blogs (blogs that have more than one RLMember or none at all in their icon). No Jack, Josh, Tim, or any other RLMember blogs.

Now on to Mike blogs…
