As the king informed her of the other’s who were expecting her Kohloria felt her heartbeat quicken. She suddenly felt so anxious and, as Bjorn led her to the occupied bonfire, Kohloria could feel her palms becoming clammy and she cursed about it silently. What an unbecoming trait for a queen. Despite her embarrassment she didn’t let go of the huldra’s hand, at least, not until they both stood before the group of huldra women.
The queen’s pale eyes briefly admired the weaving work they were doing and for a short time she was taken by it, remaining silent until she caught sight of all the eyes settled upon her and the cordial smiles the huldra women wore. Quite suddenly color rushed to the queen’s pallid cheeks in embarrassment and she spoke up forthwith, her grip on Bjorn’s hand tightening faintly.
“It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance.”
it was quite rare to see the Queen so n e r v o u s, and with the color on her cheeks, he knew just how she was feeling. However, there was no need for such anxiety, for his people would welcome her with open arms and warm embraces. Each citizen admired the woman just as much as their King, and were generally known for giving kindness. And so, as Kohloria spoke, the women could only smile, white teeth shown off in big grins. One so much as reached out to take one of her hands, pulling her towards the group of giddy huldrakin.
" ---I think they want you to sit with them. " commented Bjorn, running this thumb along the Monarch's knuckles. He, too, was being pulled to join the group, and as his people tugged his hand, he reluctantly released her own, finding himself settled between two women who automatically went to work on braiding flowers into his hair. A look of amusement flashed over his features as he noticed how the women fawned over Kohloria's unique hair, delicately touching the white locks with petite fingers.
" ---will you let us braid your hair, your Majesty? " one of the Huldra's would question, bright eyes still studying her hair.
