You and Ethan were fighting a lot, they weren't heated fights, on the contrary, it was a cold war. You tried to speak with Ethan about his distant behaviour, but he was so dry with his excuses that you couldn't help but think he lost interest. it wasn't your fault obviously but still you felt like it was.
Ethan was never the kind of guy who knew how to be a boyfriend right, he barely took your hand while walking and you have to suggest him to kiss you or do something more, it's not like he's not into you, it's clearly that he is. It just... didn't feel like it. You're not used to this kind of love... All the guys you've dated before were so romantic and full of love, and Ethan it's just so inexperienced that it seemed more like he was heartless.
You fell in love with Ethan at the first sight, he was just sitting there looking dorky and cute and you felt your heart skipping a beat. You were the one who talked to Ethan first, he wasn't rude, he was madly cute and gentlemen with you, and the more you guys talked the more you guys seemed more in love with each other, but now days you guys barely speak and you felt Ethan off. He's acting... distant and cold. And every time you tried to talk about it, ethan just brushed you off and started treating you like an annoying kid someone forced him to babysit.
You asked Anika and Tara if they notice Ethan distant, but Ethan didn't really talked that much with neither of them, so they told you Ethan seemed... ethan. And it was better for you to not overthink, but you couldn't help it.
It was midnight, Ethan was deep in your thoughts like a stake, you could feel your mind bleed and your eyes watery. You couldn't tell if you did something wrong, Ethan was only nice and attentive with you, he used to made you feel especial, and now.. you're feeling like a fool.You feel the warm tears running down your cheeks, and you pouted and started sobbing, you felt so naรฏve, you really thought he really liked you and at the same time you still think he likes you.
You started falling asleep while crying, and then you heard how the door of your room cracked while opening, and that noise send chills thoughout your spine, since you were completely alone.
You raise your head to see who opened it, and shivers run down your spine as you see the intimidating figure of Ghostface standing in your doorway.
His large frame walked towards you, the knife glistening in the dark, and it was... used. Dry blood was covering the knife, and more dry blood splatered in the ghostface mask.
Your breath hitched in your throat that you couldn't breathe. You were frozed in fear
Your eyes took place in the window besides your bed, and when you tried to run over it, Ghostface quickly ran towards you and tackled you on your own bed, you were about to scream but big hand covered your mouth in a bruising way, and his strong arm adding pressure in his grip to force you to not make a noise, while his other hand pointed the knife at you.
He tilted his head to the side, looking at your scared state. He raised his knife so you could see it, and then he threw it into a corner of the room.
ยซ Oh, you sweet dumb thing.. ยป a familiar voice speak thoughout the mask, it was... Ethan.
ยซYou have to promise me something before I remove my hand, okay?ยป he whispered
You nod, and in respond of his silence, you nod again and then twice.
ยซAl right.. here's the thing. If you dare to scream, i'll end you with my bare hands, you got it?ยป
A shiver run down your spine and you just nod. And like he said, he removed his hand, his bruising grip on your face made your jaw sore, you were speechless, and you just looked at him with your gaze covered in fear, his emotionless mask just stayed still, and his silent made him even more difficult to read, then, he brooke the silence

He said while getting up, there it was.. sweet Ethan, the same guy you fell in love. But still, you were scared, even though he's not gonna kill you anymore, that doesn't make him any less dangerous, he killed people, his knife was covered in blood. Your silence spoke for yourself.

His voice break when he said the last words, anyone could tell he was sad, you pressed your lips together, not quite wanting to speak, and also admitting that he was the reason of your sadness.
He removed his mask and gloves and toosed them on the floor, he looked at you with his big brown puppy eyes and a lovesick smile, before removing his ghostface suit and leaving it in the floor. The clothes behind his suit were sightly dirt because the blood traspassed, but he didn't mind. He sit in the bed and then fall in your arms, asking for cuddles, wanting love, needing love.
You were confused, but you didn't wanted to make him feel bad nor angry, so you cuddle him.
