Apollo-gies || Monty & (OPEN)
donny-bonny:
Thank God Monty was back at home. Donovan loved Apollo, he really did, but there was so much piss puddles and snoring he could take. Especially now that Jesse practically moved in with him. There wasn’t as much space, but the worst thing was that Apollo literally didn’t give a shit. Well, he did give a shit right at the front door for some reason, but the bottom line was that he was glad to hand the French Bulldog back over to his rightful owner. Even if the guy was a fucking bitch and a half. No, wait, two bitches. Monty would be worthy enough to be two complete bitches.
While he might not have Apollo under his charge now, he knew that he’d have to dog sit again. Monty could complain all he wanted, but they both knew that Apollo fucking loved him. So, yeah, he was damn smug about it but he wasn’t stupid. He knew to rub it in Monty’s face from afar or even when the basilisk wasn’t even around him just so he wouldn’t have to deal with being turned into stone.
Donovan just made it out of the pet shop when he almost spilled the entire bag of dog food he had just purchased. It was the fancy kind, the one that Monty was so damn anal about Apollo eating- which, he didn’t agree with. What harm did it do to give the dog some real steak from time to time? Let the dog live for once. Speak of the devil though, he had all but ran into Monty and Apollo themselves. “Please don’t tell me that was a pun.”
Speak of the Devil and he shall appear. Of course, Monty hadn’t been speaking or even thinking of Donovan at all, but he’d read once before that the devil was a goat, so he thought the metaphor still held up. Even if Donovan wasn’t technically a goat, but Mont wasn’t particularly bothered by such details.
Monty wrinkled his nose primly as he took a step back, putting a bit of distance between himself and his occasional dog sitter. “It wasn’t intentional,” he sniffed, with a tone that clearly suggested that puns were obviously beneath him.
Of course Apollo, the little traitor, yipped excitedly at the sight of the faun. Or maybe it was the sight of the dog food bag Donovan was carrying - the correct brand, Monty noted with some satisfaction Either way, Apollo began wiggling happily in his arms, clearly dying to leap forward and offer some very slobbery kisses.

So A Dried Piece of Wallpaper, A Fossil, and A Shit Stain Walk Into a Bar.. // Caspian, Griffin & Monty
@like-a-snake & @cas-xavier ; [ ✪ ] our muses are stuck in an elevator together.
“Kill me.” There wasn’t any point in just thinking that, because he was sure all of them were thinking the same thing while simultaneously thinking of how great it would be to actually commit the act. Let’s be honest here. All three of these men hated each other’s guts, well he didn’t exactly despise Monty as much as he did Caspian, but he still thought it was a better idea to just turn his body inside out right now. Plus, if Monty or Caspian did anything to him then they would be in bigger trouble than if he did anything to him. Alex would hear about it in one way or another, but even that couldn’t bring him any joy.
Caspian considered it bad enough that he had to even share the same fucking god damn elevator with this guy, and when the door became jammed - trapping all three of them in side, he had a sudden urge to break his own neck to avoid being conscious throughout this experience. However, considering the likelihood that this one wouldn’t do anything to his unconscious and temporarily ‘dead’ body, he decided to grin and bare it. Minus the grin. This had to be one of the worst fucking unfortunate circumstance in his entire vampire existence.
Caspian and Monty had met briefly before, but he never had any particular dislike toward the guy - so for now, at least that was something. However, it wasn’t reassuring in the slightest. What the fuck were they going to do now?
The idea of trying to pry open the elevator door, slamming Griffin’s neck between the gap before slamming the doors shut came to mind. The idea of Griffin’s decapitated head falling into sweet nothingness somewhere beneath the elevator gave him a certain satisfied pleasure. If the elevator was stiff, the blood might help as a lubricant. Caspian gave a wide grin at the thought, even letting out a light chuckle in amusement.

Monty was staring in disbelief at the sealed doors, as if he could force them open with the strength of his pure annoyance. “You have got to be shitting me.” What sort of movie trope porn cliche bullshit had he just been dropped into? Stuck in an elevator with probably two of his least favorite people in the entire sanctuary....
Alright, he didn’t mind Caspian that much, but he’d always gotten the feeling that any prolonged interaction would have the possibility to rub him the wrong way. Maybe they were too alike, in some ways. And then Griffin... Of all the people, why the fossil with a stick up his ass? Sure, they...did business, of a sort, but that didn’t stop him from imagining how satisfying it would be to sink his fangs into the man’s neck every time he opened his pretentious mouth.
When it became clear that the doors weren’t about to miraculously pop open, Monty sighed and stepped back, still not looking at his unwanted companions as he leaned against the opposite wall. “Well, if this ends up like a bad porno, let it be very clear that I am not taking it from either of you asshats.”

Monty exhaled sharply, reaching up to pinch the bridge of his nose in a gesture that clearly suggested he was reaching the end of his patience. “Now look here. I have made every allowance for you. I have been more than understanding. You know that if you continue to behave this way, your actions will result in consequences.” He paused for a moment, glaring. “And so I repeat, one last time. You need to move.”
Apollo stared up at him blankly from where he was flopped in the middle of the sidewalk, as he had been for the past five minutes. As if to add insult to injury, the little stump of a tail wagged back and forth a few times, clearly not comprehending his owner’s annoyance.
“Oh for the love of... Fine, you win,” Monty grumbled. With another few choice words mumbled under his breath - mainly plans to rescind squeaky toy privileges - Mont scooped the pudgy little dog into his arms and turned to continue on their walk. Unfortunately, he’d managed to become significantly distracted enough that he immediately bumped into somebody going the opposite direction, Apollo yelping indignantly at being caught between the two bodies. “Ah...my apologies.”

Biography/
Where does a monster’s story begin? For Monty, it began the same way he’s lived most of his life – alone. He has no recollection at all of any family. His earliest memories are of himself as a small child on his own in a corrupt sanctuary, living on the streets. It takes a special type of child to survive in those conditions, in a place where anyone can be a target, and Monty quickly learned the tricks he needed to stay alive. Every moment was a battle, though, never able to rest out of fear for what may be approaching. It quickly became clear to young Monty that in order to survive, power was the key. His charismatic personality, visible even as a child, helped him gather a following of other ‘street rats’, and together they grew up. As they reached their teen years, they stopped being a pack of children and instead became one of the sanctuary’s most dangerous gangs, with Monty’s clever, cunning brain and cold smile at the throne. Of course, someone at that height attracts attention, and envy. Monty kept his seat of power until one night in his eighteenth year, when he was betrayed by his second in command and was led into a trap, landing himself in the sanctuary’s prison.
Thus began the chapter of Monty’s life as a prisoner. He’d been listed as ‘volatile’, and the warden had been warned that he would escape easily if they ever slipped up, so he was automatically assigned to solitary confinement, with a blindfold over his eyes at all times. He only ever had any prolonged contact with one other person – a young guard who usually brought him his meals. She liked Monty more than she should have, and often ended up talking to him about all of her problems. He would always set his face into a sympathetic expression and offer false words of flattery as she complained and occasionally cried. She soon fell in love with him, and he was sure to insinuate that her feelings were returned, until one day about a year after he arrived when she took pity on him and let him out of his cell without the tight chains that usually bound his hands and feet. In that instant, Monty had the blindfold off and his arms wrapped around her, his teeth bared at her throat and her own gun pointed at her chest for extra measure. Using the girl as a hostage, he made his way out of the building, freezing anyone who came near with the Medusa’s gaze. He was almost off the grounds when one of the other guards tried to shoot him – he blocked the shot with the girl’s body before dropping her to the ground and fleeing. He didn’t stop running for a long time. He couldn’t return to his old gang, that much was clear. So he escaped the sanctuary, and quickly found a new one – Caelestis.
Upon arriving in Caelestis, twenty year old Monty settled in quickly, and picked up a life very similar to the one he’d originally left behind. It was easy to find those who were scared, who were craving more than their fair share, and to turn them to his own advantage. Monty quickly climbed to the top of the sanctuary’s dirty underbelly, and thrived through both cunning and ruthlessness. He soon gained a reliable following of those who decided it would be better to be beneath him than in his way. Monty became a feared being, others only saying his name in a hushed whisper because you never knew who was one of his spies, and no one wanted to wake up to a cut-off limb or a family member missing. An organized criminal life sprang up in the years since he’s arrived, and Monty rules over it with an iron fist. He is sure to cut down anyone who think they can oppose or challenge him. Occasionally he gets bored, and will masquerade as an average – or, relatively average – young man in town. He’s on one such kick at the moment, dancing at the Flux for his own enjoyment, but still controlling the dark side of the sanctuary with the same cold stare and love of violence that he always has.
Personality/
+ Traits: Charming, clever, strong-willed
- Traits:Violent, ruthless, vain
Monty is nothing if not charming. He is able to bend almost anyone to his will with a winning smile and a silver tongue, laced with false promises. Beneath the charismatic exterior, though, he is altogether a much different individual. Having been self-reliant since birth, he is fundamentally selfish, with absolutely no empathy for others. Moreover, he is deeply sadistic, though he usually doesn’t let out his inner bloodlust unless the situation calls for it. Where people have failed to capture his interests, though, he fills his life with material goods, spoiling both himself and his dog Apollo, the one living creature he actually cares about. Ice cold, he never lets anyone else close, and rules over his kingdom with an iron fist and a venomous grin.
