＊ The Player couldn’t help but roll their eyes at the mention of hurting them, but they didn’t outwardly comment about it -- they’d snark later, when they were no longer in dire straits.

What they did do, however, was take the time to consider their options; they were quite capable of going into the game themselves, and if Ceffie could hide them deeper than they could reach, then they’d have a fighting chance against Cheater... plus if something did happen to them there, they’d just wake up in the real world.

However, there was a good chance that he couldn’t even reach his world in the first place, which meant that following Ceffie would make them more vulnerable...

Nngh.

[⌨] “I’m not sure he can reach this world,” Tira said slowly, still weighing the pros and cons of each plan. “If I go with you, then I’d be right where he wants me.” A pause. Yes, that’s probably the right thing to do.

“I can go in the game through my headset, but it takes a while for me to connect. If you have a faster way, then we can do that, but only as a Plan B. Sounds good?”
