What really blows my mind is how people can be so indecisive about whether they’re in love with their significant other or not. One second they’re head-over-heels, ready to take on the world together. Next minute their heart is longing for another, wanting to escape to far off lands with someone else. How can people be so heartless? To toy and disregard ones feelings, head, heart…soul? I know there are times where people think they’re not in love because of the way their partner treats them. But have these people even TRIED to connect with them? Love isn’t just one way. If you can’t love them, then no one will ever love you the way you want them to. No one. Past loves, current loves, future loves. If you can so easily ignore the one who you’re with for someone you once were with or want to be with, then you will never be happy and you will never be loved. Because who can love someone who can’t decide if they are in fact in love themselves? And above all that, if you are SO set on loving someone else, then fucking do the right thing and stop hurting the other people involved. If you don’t want to be with your partner then good, be a cunt and leave them for something that may never live up to your expectations. Just because it was good once doesn’t mean it will be good again, especially if you fucked it up yourself the first time. People never change. They grow up and learn, but deep down they are still that person who tore your heart out and left you to suffer while they moved on without you. You meant nothing. Nothing will change that. You can’t rewrite that. What you can do is grow the fuck up and get out of your own arse and make some decisions. Stop being that person who rips people down to get what they ‘might’ want. If you REALLY wanted something you’d have it by now or you’d still have it. But you don’t. So that shows that you really aren't committed to that either. It's all in your head, this big grand gesture that's just a fantasy to keep them thinking they'll be in for a chance, that one day you might make up your mind. When really you're doing it all so you can keep both worlds without making a choice. Being heartless. That’s saying something…

When you miss something or someone you want or once had you miss it for the familiarity, for the longing of what used to be or what could be. But the thing is, say you got that thing you want or got it back - what is there left to miss now? You have it so it’s no longer missed. You have that familiarity back and now that longing for it will be gone - now what? The thing that was missed just becomes an every day old thing again and then you begin to remember why it came to be missed or not yours in the first place. Maybe you got tired and bored of it. Maybe you didn’t want it so you discarded it. You realise it’s only when you triggered a memory that you remembered it. So, is that really missing something or just a remembrance of what was? On the other hand, when you miss something or someone you already have - that missing is real. Because despite already having it you still have that feeling of something not being quite whole when it’s gone, but you know exactly what’ll fill it. It’s actually a part of you that is missing not something that used to be and you suddenly want back. When you have it back the feeling is amplified not muffled and you know when it’s gone again you will miss it until its return. It’s a shame so many confuse the two. Becoming selfish of what they already have for something they once had or now want. Put it this way, if you had it you shouldn’t have to torture yourself with memories that create that ‘missing’ feeling. Maybe you don’t have it now because it’s the way it was meant to be for you. It’s time to remember what you already have not what you want.
