I guess just in case, you can also find my embroidery on Instagram and Bluesky . I post just about as often.
Watch out!

did you end up making more progress with the star children embroidery project? I’m a beginner and really want to embroider the stars from either that scene or the scene with young Howl and the falling stars
@eyehartart
It's been really slow going, I am easily distracted by other projects so this one has become a project I work on a bit at time.
Right now I'm in the midst of the clouds, I've finish all the darkest spots and am working on the mid tones, then we'll get to the gray highlights before the yellows. I did do some yellows already, but I'll probably have to redo a lot of them to make the flow like I want.
I'm excited for the star children though, I bought glow in the dark thread and want to figure out the best way to incorporate it (I'm thinking just an outline)
it’s looking so good!!
glow in the dark thread is such a genius idea! now I have to stop myself from going out to get my own
Since answering this question and looking close at this piece again I've decided to start over! I love the piece but there's a lot I want to change and I love restarting projects more than finishing them.
Mostly I want to change the texture of the clouds, but I think the order in which I do things as well. And maybe this will be the motivation I need to actually finish it.

there's a stain on one of my favorite shirts in a odd spot, and I'm trying to think of what to embroider over it to make it good again, but everything coming to mind is gonna be a months long project, an I would like to be able to wear this shirt again
