i'm not sure how to put into words how much i love them. i thank them often for all the ways they've changed my life, the lives of my siblings, shared their kindness and light with us and made us feel whole, made us feel human. i thank them and i tell them i love them over text messages. and i tell them that one day, we will meet in person and i can hold their hands and look in their eyes and say "Thank you, my family. I love you."

I had to return to a situation that has been monumentally challenging and distressing and my mental health is suffering for it. My birthday is next month and I feel like I am just as stuck in life as I was 10 years ago. I've been better, to say the very least.

Israel cuts Gaza's final internet line, plunging it into total communication blackout.
Israel bombed the last main fibre route in Gaza, which means that as of June 12, all internet and fixed-line communication services are now completely cut off, further isolating Gaza amidst an ongoing genocide.
