[They smile, leaning into her hand. They’re exhausted but seems determined to stay awake a bit longer]

[Fey kisses the top of their head]

[Rye reaches over to the crib, gently stroking Finnian’s face with their finger]

You've already overworked yourself so much.. we'll still be here when you wake up

[They reach up and pat Leo on the head gently, their eyes already closing]

[Fey smiles and holds her hand out for Leo]
[Leo comes over as Rye finally falls asleep, pressing his head into her side]

[Finnian starts to wake up a bit, making small noises and starting to move]

[Feyra carefully picks them up, holding them to her chest]
[They settle and quiet down in her arms, small hands holding her shirt]

[Fey shifts to gently hand Finnian to Leo]
[Finnian makes another soft noise, cracking open small blue eyes that look like Feyra’s and looking up at Leo]
[Leo’s tail is wagging like crazy and he’s doing his best to stay still and keep calm]

[Feyra smiles wide, tears in her eyes, and quietly records the moment to share with Rye later]
Hi bud-bud... ‘m Leo ‘nd you’re Finnian
[Finnian makes another small noise and Leo tenses his jaw to muffle a little squeal of excitement]
Y-you… you’re my friend, m-my best friend… ‘nd mi hermana is gonna be the- the best mommy ever and R-Rye.. Rye is the best parent… we’re lucky
[Happy tears silently slip down her cheeks as she smiles]
[He looks up at Feyra]
C-can you take them back?- need to move ‘nd make noises-
[She takes Finnian carefully]
[He gets up and starts stimming quietly]
[Finnian opens their eyes and stares up as Feyra]
[Feyra looks at them, soft smile on her face]

[They coo softly, reaching up toward her face with small arms]
[She moves her face towards their hands, letting them touch]

[He makes a soft noise, putting his head to Feyra’s side as she hums, listening quietly]
