Hiiiii!!! I feel really bad for having to do this, but with how expensive everything is, there isn't much else I can do for a solution. I grew up with two cats. One of them passed away early this year, and the other is now living with my girlfriend. This second one recently went missing for a couple of days, but when he was found, it was quickly found out that he had broken one of his hind legs. ( We suspect he likely got hit by a car but we're not sure. ) He's an old man, 15 years old, so we were already looking at the options with uncertainty. But we decided to give reconstruction of the bone a chance anyway. This was gonna happen earlier today, but when they were preparing him for surgery, his blood level and blood pressure went incredibly low. Now they suspect there might be more going on and are gonna keep him at the hospital for 24 hours.

All this is to say, this is all incredibly expensive, and we don't know how much of it we can afford. The prices are;

Emergency room: 950 euros

Hospitalisation: 1500-2000 euros

Surgery: 3200-3600 euros

Because of this, I'm opening up commissions with payment happening through my ko-fi. You're also welcome to donate any amount in general. Every little bit helps.

Two updates;

The surgery has changed from a reconstruction to an amputation.

He's going to need a blood transfusion or he wont survive the surgery.

Unfortunately, he has the rare blood type B. Which means it's going to cost another 2000 euros. This will be taking a huge chunk out of savings. So I am feeling very desperate.
