“That is fine by me, we can still party like there’s no tomorrow. Aaand…” Viv chuckled. “I’ll just have to drink for both of us then, Princess… But while we share all the entrees we can get.”

Lilly made a face looking towards it. It didn’t last long before she was laughing though. “Mhm, well - I just better not become the sober friend that has to be more of a mom than anything, got it?” She eyed her. “I’ll think about sharing the food. You just have to behave.”

“Lillian Tigger, we’re having fun and we’re doing it now. I snagged tickets to the VIP area of Pleasure Island for tonight’s theme party, so get your mask ready!” Viv cried out as she knocked on her friend’s door.

Lilly made a face and looked towards her. “Alright, but .. I’m still on that sober kick with Nibs, so .. they just better have amazing  bar food available.”

“Like this!” Maria said, and proceeded to do The Sprinkler before bursting out laughing. “Well I like it so much I don’t want to take it off.”

Making a face she shook her head softly. “Oh, no.. no none of that. You can do something more flattering in the leather jacket than that one.. classic, but let’s.. not.”

“I don’t. Not anymore, anyways. Looking for a fresh start.” Scout couldn’t help but chuckle as she spoke. “The Lost Boys? Is that your boyfriend’s ‘band?’ When do they meet, when recess is over? Do they play, like, wood blocks and triangles?” He cringed. “I’d like to see them try.”

“Anymore, well can’t say I even know who exactly you were before that moment.” She stated with a small shrug. “I mean that’s a lot of talk for someone who’s musical career I know nothing about. And I attend nearly every big party, concert, and club around here. Underground and all, kinda my thing to have the night life.” Lilly shrugged. “You’d have me relevant and out there to see their talent, so hopefully your search goes alright.”

Scout took a step back to admire his work, the last poster he had to hang, hopefully the one that would entice someone, anyone, to play in his band. He’d fired his old band a month or so earlier, and was ready for a fresh start. He began to walk away as someone approached, but paused to see if they’d take interest.

Popping her lips as she pulled the lollipop from her mouth she titled her head reading over the poster. “Huh.. didn’t know you had a band. I mean the band around here is The Lost Boys, and well if you can gather a few up, I’m sure a lovely band competition would be pretty entertaining. Though , my boys will kinda school you guys back into your garage, but.” She stated with a laugh as she shrugged her shoulders.

Maria placed her hands over her head, softly moving to the beat of the music. She didn’t go out a lot, but that didn’t mean she didn’t love to party and dance from time to time. And today, after her father’s stressful visit, which was followed by an awkward family trip, she needed it. She grinned at the person beside her, letting out a soft “Wohoo!” And pointing to her new leather jacket. “Best Christmas present I’ve ever gotten!”

Lilly was slowly coming around to being able to go out and party without the alcohol. Which was probably because she was more open with things, and had someone that wasn’t leaving her side like always. So hearing someone really feeling themselves she turned with a grin. “How are you dancing in a leather jacket?”

Anya didn’t even argue. It wasn’t worth it and she didn’t really care all that much. All that mattered was that she was not in a bad position, and that she felt good. Plus Anya wasn’t meaning anything bad by it, but obviously she couldn’t say anything right. So she remained quiet, “Only takes one time. Thats…” She paused she wanted to say something nice but figured it would just get taken wrong again. “We’re here.” She pointed at the shop. One wonderful thing about living in los angeles was that people here were very health oriented. 

Lilly shrugged. “I’m just glad I don’t have to worry about that one time, or parents, or anything ... Nibs is and was my best friend before any of this. Kinda plays a great deal in the whole relationship part of whatever.” She stated waving her hand towards it. It was all still so weird for her to talk about to anyone other than the boys. Looking up she nodded. “Thank goodness it wasn’t that far.”

Nibs sat on the carpet near the couch in Lilly’s place, strumming his guitar and looking up at her like she was the stars that shined across the sky. He was in a  musical mood and looking at his princess only made him want to sing more. He had been debating if he was going to sing one of the many songs he had written about her, or just whatever came closest to mind. All he knew was he was in love and he wanted her to know that.

“I think I finally got a song idea,” he said with a light laugh. “Unless you have requests, princess.”

Lilly laid with her eyes shut and her dark hair sprawled out along the pillow. Just listening to Nibs play around with the guitar was enough to relax her. Hearing his voice she opened her eyes and peaked over at him with a sleepy smile. “I think I would much rather hear what song came to your head.”

Anya shook her head, “Is that not the correct term? I didn’t mean any offense usually when people stop its cause something went wrong. But I see your point. I won’t ask about it anymore.” She bite her lip softly a smile creeping up on her lips, “It was nice, last time the Dowager met someone who I was dating it didn’t end well. So…you and Nibs huh?”

“Not really. I wouldn’t start throwing out terms you assume are right around anyone talking about their sobriety. Unless you’re are going down that road. Good, or bad - only thing that matter is it’s not an  issue anymore.” She stated rolling her eyes a little. Lilly nodded. “Well, glad to hear it’s at least running smooth this time around. Hm? Oh, yeah. I mean officially now.”

Tulio turned around. “I have a better idea, why don’t you go look for those shoes at the mall, which is probably one of your favorite places in town, right? And let me work quietly here.” He suggested, lifting his eyebrows at her.

“Wrong.” She sang out giving him a large grin . “My favorite place is the dance studio, and then somewhere along those lines you can find the mall. But Why would I want to fight all the holiday shoppers?” She stated making a face towards him. “Aw, what’s wrong, don’t want some company?”

“Sounds like a plan.” Anya listened quietly as they walked, thinking about when she first met Lilly. “Were you close to croaking? You don’t have to tell me of course.” She shrugged, “Pretty good, boyfriend met my Nana. It went well so I guess thats good.”

Lilly looked at her with frowned brows. “No I wasn’t close to croaking. What kind of question is that? I had my shit together, but it was a good start to someday not having it.” She stated shaking her head a little. “Sounds peachy. If there’s  one thing I’m thankful for is my parents not giving enough shits to have to meet Nibs... Nibs would probably open his mouth on all the shit they’ve done.”

“You’re intriguing.” She said with a simple shrug. “I’ve found the most interesting people, those whom are truly a joy to know, rarely think highly of themselves for they have a greater purpose they have yet to discover. I find that wonderful.” Ellie hummed in thought for a moment. “Did you have one? An idol, I mean; at some point?”

“Are you high? i mean did someone sell you brownies at school? Because if they’re selling them, there is more than just mix they’re trying to pay off in them.” She stated shaking her head with a small laugh. “Whoa, slow down. I think very highly of myself. I’m practically a princess around these parts, so don’t assume I’m anything less, missy.” she stated with as small shake of her head. “Uh.. I guess we all look at our parents as idols at some point or another.”

She followed suit and stood up. “That’s sad, I thought there was nothing a little Vodka couldn’t fix.” Bella shrugged before giving Lilly a light nudge. “I refuse; besides, it’s the only socially acceptable poking I can do at the moment.” The girl teased as they walked, letting her eyes roam over the brunette’s body before giving her a coy smirk. “Of course I wasn’t, don’t take me as a complete fool.”

“There was a time in my life where I would have died for that saying, but honestly vodka just makes everything worse.” she stated honestly with a small laugh. Raising a brow she looked towards her. “It’s only unacceptable if you’re caught in the act, Bella.” Watching her look her over she just shook her head with a small laugh. “A fool? Never. You’re one of the rare good ones.”

“Really brave or really stupid. I don’t really wear heels, anyway; weak ankles.” She shrugged. “I rather get rid of the death traps than trying to search my purse for useful shit in the pool of receipts I have laying around in there.” Meg sighed with a slight smirk, tossing her hair over her shoulder as she spoke. “Wiser words have never been spoken; we’re as young as the day we set foot into that wonderful shitstorm we call school.” The girl took another shot, feeling the familiar rush finally starting to roam down her throat, looking at Lilly with a raised brow. “Are you referring to that one women are from Venus and men are from Mars thing? Cause…yeah, true.”

“Well that’s a shame.” Lilly stated with a small laugh. “I’d say A for effort on the thought process of taking down an asshole, but heels cost more than a good dick. Or to fuss over a bad one.” she shrugged making a face. Laughing Lilly nodded. “Lesson of the day - don’t get a receipt! Say you’re helping the planet or something and look like a good person or whatever as you shop your way around.” Making a face she shook her head. “I would rather not talk of school, those days are behind, and drinks can come right in front of me. I think looking ahead is the best option in life.” Laughing loudly she threw back her shot. “I mean.. It’s true! I don’t care how old I get it still applies.”

Anya probably should have had a finer pallet for food but the earlier years of her life had prevented that. “I think it is natural stuff not the processed food but I could be wrong.” At least the videos she had watched of the place was in fact real fruit and such. “Right this way. How have you been Lilly?”

“Only one way to really find out. One taste and I’ll be sure to let you know what we’re actually putting in our bodies at the time.” she shrugged a little. Following along she shrugged a bit. “Sober - which is great I guess. Least I know I won’t be croaking over anytime soon or something.” She mumbled. “You?”

The young man grimaced at the sound the gum made, making a big effort not to roll his eyes at her. “I just need peace and quiet to concentrate and finish this so I can get some coffee and go on to do the rest of the shit I need to do.” He grumbled.

Lilly nodded leaning back in her chair. “Well then work in , buddy. I’m not stopping you. I’m simply sitting here right beside you - maybe I’ll go and see if I can find a good shoes sale online. I mean it’s not my fault you’re drowning in your work - so I’d put that sass in a nice box and put bow on it.” She stated with a flashy grin towards him.

Anya shrugged, “I would like to hope its a good place. I don’t know how someone could do ice cream wrong and still be open.” She nodded, “Lets go try it then and find out shall we?”

Lilly shook her head. “You’d be surprised. Plus I just have a pallet for the finer things. So I can tell the fake flavors with something more natural.” she stated with a small shrug. Lilly ran her fingers through her messy waves and nodded. “Lead the way.”
