Lil considers herself one of the luckiest people in the world to have grown up with the kind of friends that she did. Her entire childhood was spent around the same group, and not much has changed now that they’re adults. Though her family was pretty normal in the sense that they lived in a white picket fence kind of house in the suburbs of Echo Isle, Lil has always known just how fortunate she is to have kept the same people around her entire life. The Pickles, Finsters, and Carmichaels are family, from her friends being more like siblings and their parents being considered aunts and uncles to her.
She has had a love-hate relationship with being a twin. When she was little, she wished that her twin was a girl, but growing up with Phil has been the best thing that’s ever happened to her. She would never admit that to Phil himself, but there’s a lot about her that he doesn’t know. At the same time, she feels like they know each other like the back of their own hands. Twin telepathy is real, and she’s seen it with her and Phil. Lil can always tell what he’s thinking on a surface level, but she can’t seem to tell what he wants to do with his life in the long term.
Living with her twin has been one of the best and worst things to ever happen to her. They bicker more now that she’s had to take more responsibility for keeping the place clean, and it’s taking literally everything in her not to smack him in the face and tell him that he needs to do better than working at the cafe, but she also can’t imagine living with anyone else. Phil has been her roommate since the womb, literally, and anyone else she’s struggled living with.
Her favorite sport, out of any of the ones that she’s ever tried, is volleyball. She loves how spontaneous and unpredictable it is. Soccer and softball were so fucking slow and boring, but volleyball? That was the total opposite. She likes to think of it as life itself: quick, pressure-high, and full of adrenaline. Lil wound up going for soccer in college because she was the best at it, but volleyball always had a special place in her heart.
Coaching elementary soccer is her favorite thing to do right now. Sure, school and the prospect of becoming a real coach one day is great, she’d love to have a secure job, but the best part about what Lil has been involved with is coaching. She loves nothing more than seeing the little girls she’s coaching turn into teammates, and then friends.
Lil isn’t exactly in the place she wanted to be at 25, but she’s pretty happy with it for now. It’s better than Phil and the rest of her childhood friends are doing. She’s really proud of Tommy for starting to figure out what he wants to do with his life, and Angelica seems like she’s already there. Phil, though, is her biggest worry. Sometimes, Lil feels like she should’ve held herself back to take care of him, but her parents pushed her to do otherwise. She knows that she can’t do much about his lack of motivation, but her therapist says that continuing to succeed is the best way to push him to be better, and she hopes that’s the truth.
Discovered makeup when she was in high school, and watched YouTube videos to get better at it. She’s been pretty proficient at doing her own ever since, and Angelica is most definitely better at it, but Lil is confident enough to do her own face when she needs to.
Shops a lot at Lululemon and Urban Outfitters. Athlesiure is her vibe.
Honestly very competitive at anything she does. At home, she’s at pro level with any given sport on the Wii. It’s been a while since she’s played, since it’s at her parents’ house, but Lil will not back down from a Wii Tennis fight when she comes to visit.
Loves going to concerts and music festivals. Lil is a sucker for glitter and any excuse to use it, she’ll be there. She loves live music and the feeling of being with other fans.
