A step toward the unknown

Abortions is not only about how controversial this topic can get or even about getting an abortion, the procedure. Abortion also needs to highlight the seriousness on how nobody has noticed the gap between real life decision we have to make for ourselves and politics plays a huge role in the unspoken issues on this topic hasn’t raised light on. in the Ted Talk the speaker mentions two main ways to change the views on abortion is listen and tell your story. that is what stood out to me in that talk. once everyday stops distressing a women’s option to have an abortion and allow an individual to live with the choices she had to make in her past life. As well as not feeling any type of regret whenever the topic of abortion comes up and that is what i think the main point of that Ted Talk, is to learn how to listen to the person that is talking to you and mirror the way he/she speaks. This goes for teachers as well they need to learn how to communicate this is very key The Department of education need to make sure these teachers step into the unknown.

Why do People Side on Pro-Life?

Majority of the pro-life advocate are religious. Even the famous Norma McCorvey changed her ways and became religious as well as become pro-life, fighting against abortion.

Feminism plays a huge role in pro-life as well.

Who Benefits From An Abortion?

"I was bitter. I thought I had been cheated, but everyone feels that way sometime in their life.”

I agree with this words spoken by Norma McCorvey, sooner or later in life a person grows to realize nobody benefits from an abortion. I say this because back to what McCorvey said it is truly a bitter ask more bittersweet act, a women can never make up from a thing like an abortion, you start to feel as if you made a mistake on your design of take your own child life based off of “what if’s.”

How would one take a stand towards a decrease in abortion?

I recommend required sex educational classes in college. I say this because my freshman year in high school I don’t remember everything that was addressed in that class I positive not everyone can remember half of the classes they took their freshman year of high school. Just because our bodies is maturing at that age doesn’t mean our brains was mature enough to understand the seriousness of sexual education.

The view on rape needs to be taken more seriously as well. I get on this because as I did my research on anti abortion they speak on, how rape victims shouldn’t terminate their child, yet those people might not understand the seriousness of trama of rape can play to the victim. If the “superpowers” change there mindset on rape it will also help lighten their judgment on abortion( not say rape is the pathway to abortion.) once that judgment I changed just maybe a female would think to accept a rape produced child.

Rate of accidental deaths for women not having a “choice”; basically areas with anti abortion laws. Latin America, Africa, Asia yet the most strictest countries are Chile, Elsolvador etc., those countries completely band abortion. Now women have to travel far in order to get what they want. Over 180 miles of land to cover the maximum.

A Supreme Court case 7-2 decision on the issue of the justness in the law that criminalize and refuses access to abortion. Back in 1973 those law became viewed as unconstitutional. Norma McCorvey was played an important role in the United State Supreme Court case.

In 49 states it is a Felony for a woman to terminate their a baby (1967). To highlight in Washington D.C. Dr. Leon Belous is convicted for giving women access to an illegal abortionist.
