I only finished chapter 2 of sunrise, but it's so insane already. When it was announced that it will be about haymitch's game i thought that it will be from the pov of a someone involved with the game or something as we already got a pov from a tribute. So i was a bit disapointed cause i thought that we won't really get anything new but i was SO wrong. This is literally the missing piece from the puzzle, i already know so much and i only finished chapter 2. The name drops??? We learn that the broadcast is delayed? I'm so excited to read the game as we already got to kinda 'see' it in cathing fire, but of course in the way the capitol televised it.

It's already so heartbreaking already, shows that how much the games can fuck up a person. Of course we already knew that, but as we see haymitch's character pre game and also the one in the trilogy it's just a different person. When he said that he is not a drinker??? Like put the computer down suzanne please.

I also find it interesting that it's in first person again. When ballad was in third i didn't really think about much, but now it got a completely new meaning. I interpret in a way that snow didn't want us to completely get in his head.

In conclusion it's already so good and gives us so much things to think about, and i'm really excited about the rest!
