I’ll remember you though.
We’re strong women.

I get way too sensitive when I get attached to someone. I can detect the slightest change in the tone of their voice, and suddenly I’m spending all day trying to figure out what I did wrong.

Anastasia constantly found herself in Bibbidi Bobbiddi Beauty. She was probably their best customer with the way she seemed to come in and spend hundreds of dollars on new product weekly. Trends moved quicker than people thought and Anastasia had to make sure she used only the best. It was for her face after all. After checking herself out in the mirror for the last ten minutes, she sighed. She thought she looked awful, but perhaps that was just what she was waiting to hear someone else say. She tucked a strand of red hair behind her ears and finally turned to walk away, bumping into someone in the process. “Excuse you,” she said defensively. “What are you doing in a store like this? You look like you don’t even know what an eyebrow pencil is.”
Lilo has to blink as she’s shoved into, stumbling back in surprise for a moment before she’s blinking up at the, frankly, horrible girl in surprise. She opens and shuts her mouth in shock for a moment, cause for a second, with the red hair and the sharp bite, she really is reminded of Mertle. But after a moment of shock Lilo can’t help but straighten her spine slightly, chin tilting up ever so slightly as she says, “you bumped into me. You should be the one being excused. That or maybe saying sorry.” And Lilo has to set her jaw for a moment, because well, the girl wasn’t completely wrong. She knew what an eyebrow pencil was but she never really felt the need to use one outside of performances. For the most part the most makeup Lilo wore was mascara. She didn’t need this girl making her feel bad about it though, “I’m here getting supplies for a performance. And well, that’s because I don’t need one.” Lilo didn’t mean for that to sound as mean as it did, and she can already feel the guilt weighing heavy on her heart. She hesitates a moment as her eyes soften before she hesitantly decides to stand her ground.
